It seems the new year will bring another top-end Windows Phone launch in the shape of the Nokia 900, if a recent invite is anything to go by.
Nokia has sent out its call for press to attend its press conference, and the Metro-themed nature of the invite means we're definitely going to be seeing something on the Windows Phone 7 front.
The Finns promise to show 'stunning demos of the latest technology in action' as well as teaching us about 'the future of smart devices' too.
Nok-ing on the future
The Nokia Lumia 900 has been rumoured for some time now, since a developer video showing off a larger device to the Lumia 800 was outed a few weeks ago, showing a phone with a more curved bottom edge.
We know Nokia is planning great things with Windows Phone - including NFC, deeper integration of its Nokia services and further development of the camera application - so it will be interesting to see whether this is the next super-charged Windows Phone.
Of course, it could just be Nokia showing off its current Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 handsets again and spending money on a press conference to do it... but let's hope it's nothing as boring as that, eh?
