The 20-second teaser clip from Huawei reveals the name of the phone and features a teaser for a previously confirmed press conference at Mobile World Congress on February 26.
Richard Yu yesterday confirmed the Huawei Watch 2 will also be ready to show at the end of the month.
In the P10 teaser, the slogan “change the way the world sees you” gives us a hint of some potentially the new features. It follows the tagline for the Huawei P9 event that said, “change the way you see the world” and sold itself on a dual-lens rear camera.
The new teaser suggests we’re going to see some big upgrades to the front-facing camera on the Huawei P10. Whether it will feature a dual-lens sensor on the front this time is unclear.
The images of eyes in the teaser may also hint toward an iris scanner to help you unlock the phone securely as well.
The #OO hashtag makes a return after being liberally used in the build up, and during the P9 launch to signify its dual rear snappers.
At least two phones
The Huawei P10 Plus has also leaked in a retailer listing that showed the phone may come with a huge 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
That sounds like ambitious spec though, especially considering the Huawei P9 Plus only had 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The listing also introduced a pretty disappointingly high price of €799 (about $850, £680, AU$1100) as well.
Whether this leak is accurate remains to be seen, but it now isn't long until we find out everything about the Huawei P10 at Mobile World Congress 2017.
