Hands on: Samsung WB150F review

These images were shot with a pre-production sample of the Samsung WB150F, so they may not reflect the quality of the images that a full-production sample is capable of producing.

However, Samsung has given permission for the images to be published, so we can assume that they are not too far off the final product.

Although most of the images look good at normal screen viewing and printing sizes, some fine details appear rather soft when images are viewed at 100% or 'Actual Pixels'. If this is the final image quality, the scope for cropping will be a little limited.

On the plus side, colours generally appear natural and aren't excessively saturated. The automatic white balance system also performed well in the sun and shade conditions encountered during our shoot.

We will test the camera in a more extensive range of lighting conditions when we get a full production sample in for a full review, so watch this space.
