I hear you, I hear you... new Taylor Sheridan show The Madison, now streaming on Paramount+, isn't landing with everyone.

From an implausible script to general mundanity, fans feel more reluctant than ever to stream the season's final three episodes, set to hit the streamer on March 21.

Overboard on Prime Video is Kurt Russell at his romantic best (with Goldie Hawn, no less)

If you're not completely buying Russell and Pfeiffer's romantic connection in The Madison, Overboard's "undeniable chemistry" is all down to Russell and his real-life wife, Goldie Hawn. The pair had been together for five years by this point... and when you know, you know.

Russell plays Dean, a carpenter who is cruelly fired by heiress Joanna (Hawn). However, when Dean learns she has amnesia, he pretends to be her husband as an act of revenge. A typical love story this is not.

Only two larger-than-life personalities like Russell and Hawn could make this unhinged idea work, with Overboard joining the long list of rom-coms fans return to as their ultimate comfort watch.

A unique variation on the era's classic screwball comedy, Overboard keeps you second-guessing where The Madison absolutely doesn't. No spoilers here, but there's also a much happier ending for Dean and Joanna's relationship.

My mum has always said that she knew Russell would be incredible in person because of the importance of, and love in, his family unit — and Overboard is a testament to that.
