Welcome to the latest edition of TechRadar's weekly streaming round-up. February 2026 is officially here and, with it, we'll see plenty of new movies and shows drop on the world's best streaming services throughout the month.
Admittedly, this week's selection is pretty sparse – I wonder if everyone's getting out of the way of this year's Super Bowl? – but there are still some intriguing new releases that'll appeal to the genre fans among you. So, read on to see what we've picked out from this week's film and TV series launches. – Tom Power, senior entertainment reporter
The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 (Netflix)
Court is back in session, folks! The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 is streaming on Netflix and sees LA's top criminal defense lawyer, Mickey Haller, face his toughest case yet. On trial for a murder he didn't commit, Mickey must act as both defendant and counsel for the defense in what's set to be another suspenseful watch.
Based on Michael Connelly’s The Law of Innocence, season 4 picks up directly after last season's cliffhanger ending, which saw Mickey discover a body in the trunk of his car. Unlike the previous season, which was released in two parts, all 10 episodes of the latest installment are available to stream now. – Amelia Schwanke, senior entertainment editor
The Muppet Show Special (Disney+)
There are only two people who can save the world right now – Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. Luckily for us, they lead Disney+'s revival of The Muppet Show, which makes me so happy that it genuinely brings a tear to my eye.
We're in for the usual japes and musical numbers (with a 2026 twist) but, if that wasn't enough, pop icon Sabrina Carpenter joins them on screen. Since the Short n' Sweet album, Carpenter's cutesy vintage aesthetic rivals anything Miss Piggy would wear on a daily basis.... and oh boy, do I smell a frenemy war incoming. – Jasmine Valentine, entertainment reporter
Relationship Goals (Prime Video)
Prime Video has done it again. Despite the backlash that its War of the Worlds movie received for feeling like a two-hour Amazon commercial, the streamer has released yet another ad disguised as a film using famous singers-turned-actors to draw in viewers.

Billed as a light-hearted Valentine’s Day rom-com starring Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland and Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man, Relationship Goals has instead been called out as a glossy promo for Pastor Michael Todd’s book of the same name, which – surprise surprise – you can buy on Amazon. Todd, unsurprisingly, is also credited as star and producer. As you might imagine, it’s gone down about as well as Prime Video's previous gamble. – AS
Ella McCay (Hulu/Disney+)
Awards season has been so busy that you might have overlooked this little gem, which is out now on Hulu and Disney+. Sex Education's Emma Mackey plays the titular character, a 34-year-old woman who becomes the governor of her hometown state. However, the residents aren't her biggest challenge – Ella's husband, father, and brother take that crown instead.
As well as being overwhelmingly endearing, there's a sense of optimism in Ella McCay that we rarely get with today's movies. Sure, there are challenges, but that's just life. We're getting pure sunshine in a bottle here and that's incredibly hard to come by. – JV
- Watch Ella McCay on Hulu (US) and Disney+ (internationally)
The Burbs (Peacock)
Peacock's adaptation of the 1989 black comedy The 'Burbs arrives this Sunday. At the time of writing, its Rotten Tomatoes critical score is yet to be determined, so we can't gauge how successful it is compared to the Tom Hanks-starring original.
Nevertheless, it's simple yet intriguing plot centers around a newly married couple as they relocate to the suburban neighborhood that said husband grew up in. This decision exposes old secrets and their hopes for an idyllic place to live are soon ruined.
There's a great cast attached to this series which may encourage viewers to tune in. Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, and Haley Joel Osment are some of the big names involved, so fingers crossed it's a good watch. – Lucy Buglass, senior entertainment writer
The Investigation of Lucy Letby (Netflix)
Netflix's latest crime documentary focuses on Lucy Letby, a neonatal nurse who was found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven others under her care.
To explore the case, it features interviews with experts and lawyers on both sides, as well as an anonymous interview with a mother of one of the victims. According to an ITN Productions press release, this marks her "first time speaking about her experience."
Additionally, the release says that there's "never-before-seen footage" in a documentary produced "as a result of years of research and relationship-building". This'll be a very difficult watch and I can see it dividing audiences, but if you're interested, it's streaming now. – LB
Super Bowl LX (Peacock)
It's almost time for the biggest night in the NFL calendar. That's right, the 2026 edition of the Super Bowl is nearly here, so I hope you've got plenty of snacks to chow down on for what's expected to be another marathon match spent in front of the TV.
The league title showdown, which sees the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks, will be shown live on NBC and Peacock in the US, and is set to kick off at 3:30pm PT / 6:30pm ET. In the UK, it'll be broadcast on Channel 5, Sky Sports, and DAZN, with the game starting at 11:30pm GMT.
