Best Dyson Black Friday 2025 deals in Australia: save on vacuums, hair tools, purifiers and more
Black Friday is the best time to save on Dyson's coveted products
While Black Friday sales in Australia don't officially start till November 28, some popular brands and retailers aren't keen to wait. Dyson is one of them.
The popular British brand, best known for making some of the best cordless stick vacuums, is already at it. There's a dedicated section for Dyson Black Friday deals on the brand's online storefront, with up to AU$650 off quite a few products.
From cordless vacuums to hairstyling tools, as well as purifiers that look like pieces of art in the home, Dyson makes some excellent products. If you didn't already know, Dyson also has a lamp – called the Dyson Solarcycle Morph – that has a plethora of functionalities to help maintain circadian rhythms and keep you alert. Then there are the headphones that made headlines.
However, every single one of them carries a premium price tag. So, if you can find them discounted, you really should pounce on the chance and suck up those savings. And while you can shop directly at Dyson, who will price match if you find an item cheaper elsewhere, we're listing the best Dyson Black Friday deals here from all trusted retailers to ease your shopping.

Best Dyson Black Friday 2025 deals
Vacuums
It's been succeeded by the V16 Piston Animal as the most powerful Dyson yet, but the suction here is still superb. And this is the Complete variant, meaning it's a Dyson exclusive that gets you every single attachment (6 in total) along with 2 cleaning heads – the Digital Motorbar and the Fluffy Optic. You'll also get the Dyson Free Dok Multi, which is a free-standing dock to stow it all away.
This whopping discount via the official Dyson eBay Store is absolutely a steal, beating last year's Black Friday price by AU$10. If you don't need 6 attachments and the freestanding dock, this version of the Gen5detect might be better value for you. You'll get 2 cleaning heads and 2 attachments in the box, which isn't bad at all. Be sure to use the checkout code SAVENOV for the full discount.
Dyson's original wet-dry cordless stick vacuum is pretty handy to have around the home – you can vacuum first and then follow it up with a mop. I still use it at home and, in my Dyson V15s Detect Submarine review, I found the mopping to be very good indeed but a design flaw makes some of that dirty water slosh out when you want to clean out the Submarine attachment. If you can find a way around it, this is one could be well worth considering. Note that The Good Guys' price-beat offer could score you this model for AU$779 at the time of writing.
It might be getting a little long in the tooth but the V15 Detect is still arguably the best Dyson you can buy. And this price on eBay with the checkout code SAVENOV added is excellent value indeed! It's lighter than the models that came after it, runs up to 60 minutes on a single charge (albeit in low suction and non-motorised tools), and the Fluffy Optic is a game changer for cleaning fine particles off hard floors.
It was down to AU$569 on Amazon previously and proved so popular, stocks ran out. While this offer isn't as good, it's still a very decent saving on what is still a very good vacuum cleaner. The V11 has up to 60 minutes of run time, and it’s got an LCD screen to show you just how much battery life you’ve got left.
<p>The Good Guys have also listed the <a href="https://www.prf.hn/click/camref:1101ljjE9/pubref:hawk-custom-tracking/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thegoodguys.com.au%2Fdyson-v11-advanced-cordless-vacuum-479334-01">V11 Advanced for AU$675, but the price-beat option could score you slightly better discount. This older Dyson vacuum was down to AU$589 on Amazon in October 2024, but was selling for AU$749 through Black Friday 2024, so I suppose it's fair to say this is a decent deal on the V10. It offers fade-free power for up to 60 minutes, and this variant comes with a Fluffy cleaning head (not the one with the light as in the V15) and the Digital Motorbar to suit homes with mixed flooring. There are three additional attachments in the box, along with a wall dock.
Dyson quietly released this model earlier this year, offering a cheaper way to get yourself a wet-and-dry vacuum. It has lesser suction power than the V15s Detect, but we haven't been able to try it for ourselves yet. It also lasts no more than 40 minutes on a single charge. I'd say this would be better suited to smaller homes.
<p><a href="https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=HlvbvYZP82I&mid=43020&u1=hawk-custom-tracking&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dyson.com.au%2Fdyson-v9-submarine-wet-dry-vacuum-cleaner-303946-01">Available directly from Dyson for AU$795.This is a massive discount on Dyson's original floor washer. If you have only hard floors at home, a machine like this saves you time as it vacuums and mops at the same time. And it can tackle wet spills too. It uses two rollers in the cleaning head and has no filters that can create bad odours when it's at rest. And a self-cleaning cycle ensures it's ready to go for its next spin any time.
<p><a href="https://kogan.sjv.io/c/338476/522120/8922?subId1=hawk-custom-tracking&sharedId=hawk&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kogan.com%2Fau%2Fbuy%2Fdya-box-damaged-dyson-washg1-ultra-bluematte-black-492607-01%2F">Kogan is listing the WashG1 for just AU$449 and while there's no mention of it in the product page, the URL suggests it's a damaged box.Dyson’s first robot vacuum cleaner to be available in Australia isn't bad, and it's the only robovac to use a side 'tongue' or scoop to suck up dust collected along room edges. While it's fine as a vacuum, there are better and more versatile options on the market these days. But hey, if you really want a Dyson robovac, I'm not one to judge.
Haircare tools
This hair dryer has a plethora of sensors that make sure your scalp remains healthy, automatically adjusting heat and airflow depending on how far away the dryer is from your head. You also get a bunch of magnetic attachments for a styled blow dry too – this hair dryer won a TechRadar Gadget of the Year Award in 2024, so it's well worth considering.
I don't recall such a good discount on the new edition of the Airwrap multi-styler, but note that only a few of the colourways get this AU$150 saving. According to TechRadar's Home Editor, this is the best hair styler tool, hands down, with the curl.i.d switch being the game changer here. It's still an investment and I don't think this price will drop any further through the sale period.
Promising to take way less time to straighten hair than traditional flat irons by working just fine in wet hair, the Airstrait is the hair-care tool making headlines. It won't burn wet hair as other straighteners would, leaving you with less hair damage and a quicker styling session in the mornings.
While the Dyson Airstrait was busy making headlines, the older Corrale hair straightener is faded into the background. And yet, if you want a Dyson straightener that can work on even the tightest of curls, this would be it. It was 29% off on Amazon this time last year, but I wouldn't scoff at a smaller 22% saving. It's a heavy appliance, but it works cordlessly for a short time and even has an airplane mode that disconnects the battery while you're travelling. It also has a safety shut off that activates after about 10 or 15 minutes of inactivity.
It might be cheaper than the Nural, but with the current discount, the newer and smarter hair dryer is the better buy. Still, the old Supersonic has a fan following and if you've been holding off for it, Dyson's got a good price on the Prussian Blue/Copper colourway. Other variants like the Nickel/Copper are out of stock.
Fans, heaters and air purifiers
It might be a basic tower fan from Dyson, but it promises to cool the room down quickly by amping up its airflow. It comes with a handy remote control and there's a timer functionality too. A decent 20% discount gives it a more approachable price tag.
Despite a decent AU$250 saving, this purifier fan and heater is quite an expensive machine, and yet it could justify its premium price. Firstly, it can be used year round, cooling and heating as needed. Second, if you or a family member suffers from allergies, you don't need a separate purifier, this does it all, even filtering out noxious nitrogen dioxide that's a major air pollutant and causes respiratory disorders. It even promises to remove cooking odours.
It's big and its really quiet even at full bore, but this is arguably one heck of a purifying fan. In our Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde review, we said it works well in large, open spaces, but its price tag is quite prohibitive, even with this discount – it was half price last year for Black Friday – but it's unique enough and very effective to not list here.
This is part of the latest range of air purifying fans and heaters from Dyson, with improved filtration following the HEPA H13 standard. This purifier oscillates 350º to cool you down in summer or warm you up in winter, and the filter is easy to change. You'll know when you need to via the tiny display on the machine. It comes with a handy little remote control and offers a night mode where it quietens down to allow lighter sleepers to rest easy.
Headphones
We thought these cans were overpriced in our Dyson OnTrac review, but appreciated that the British brand has done a far better job on its second set of headphones than the Zone. While sound is lovely, there are others who do it better, but just being able to customise the headphones might well be worth the cash.
It made the news for all the wrong reasons and, admittedly it's not the best idea Dyson had for headphones, but if you're the exception who is keen to try these... well, exceptional headphones with the purifying mask, it's going for really cheap on eBay.
Lighting
I tested this lamp and, although I thought it was overpriced, I couldn't help but admire it, calling it a "showstopper" in my Dyson Solarcycle Morph review. It was down to AU$698 around this time last year, so this ain't bad.
Best Black Friday deals on Dyson alternatives
Dyson vacuum dupes
This popular budget vacuum cleaner is always a bestseller when discounted and this is its lowest price yet. We haven't tested it ourselves but user reviews are glowing. For quick and daily vacuuming, this is great and excellent value at this price – and I don't think it will get any cheaper.
It's the auto-emptying version of this cordless vacuum that I rank as the #1 best vacuum in Australia, but if you don't need that feature, this is arguably one of the best deals I can recommend on a powerful machine. You'll get up to 70 minutes of runtime, plus a bendy wand to get under furniture, and there's dynamic suction for the best clean possible.
This Roborock wet-dry vacuum will leave your hard floors sparkling clean thanks to powerful suction and effective cleaning. It can get up close to edges and the whole body can lay completely flat to help getting underneath tricky to reach places. This standout deal is equal to the lowest price we have seen.
With powerful and dynamic suction, plenty of attachments and an auto-empty charging dock, this is arguably the best value non-Dyson cordless vacuum right now. And there are no ongoing expenses here either because you won't need to buy dust bags. Just be sure to wash out the dust box in the dock and let it dry fully before popping it back for use again.
Dyson Airwrap dupes
It was the multi-styler that began the Airwrap-dupe trend and now it's slowly fading away from popularity with newer models from Shark itself and other competitors joining in. I use it myself and even though the Airwrap would be the better styler, I can't deny its overall value. In this package, Shark allows you to pick three attachments you'll need most (trust me, you won't use more than that), so you can build your own bundle.
If you think three attachments aren't going to cut it and you want the whole shebang, the Black Sparkle limited-edition model is being discounted directly at Shark. It includes a carry case for the full kit, plus 6 attachments in total.
Kogan has also jumped on the Airwrap-dupe bandwagon with its own 7-in-1 SalonPro styler which comes with 7 attachments. This includes two condensers rather than the standard single unit in other packages. No one on my team has tried this yet, but it promises good things on a very tight budget, like fast drying, three temperature settings and three speeds. And much like the Shark FlexStyle that it resembles, the cord swivels a full 360º.
Dyson fan & purifier alternatives
This rather genius fan in Shark's arsenal isn't like a Dyson, but then it doesn't cost as much either. It's like a normal pedestal fan but it can also convert into a tabletop option with the press of a button. I use this at home and it's whisper quiet, but very effective. It even runs on battery, with up to 24 hours of runtime on a single charge.
For an additional AU$50 on the standard Shark FlexBreeze fan, you get one that has a misting attachment in the box. So when you host your next backyard barbie, you can keep yourself and your guests cool – and the 24-hour battery is here too. In my opinion, this version of the FlexBreeze is the better buy.
Perfect for those summer camping trips, picnics or even just using at home, this is a tabletop version of the original FlexBreeze, but it comes with a misting attachment that pushes out a light spray of water to cool the air around it, making it a lot more effective than just an air circulator.
It's not a huge discount and yet this bladeless fan is still cheaper than any of Dyson's alternatives. That said, most of Dyson's fan are also purifiers while this is not. This bladeless fan pushes air out 20m and can pivot 180º on its axis (from horizontal to vertical), depending on how you want the air to flow.
Remarkably similar to the Dyson Big+Quiet, Dreame's AirPursue is doesn't just cool and purify, it can also work as a heater – so better value for money here. Built to work in large spaces (up to 175sqm), it's got a motion sensor, so it can automatically switch on if it detects anyone (even your pets) in the room.
Dyson Black Friday 2025 deals: key information
When will Dyson's Black Friday 2025 sales start?
Officially, the Dyson Black Friday 2025 sale in Australia has already started, but there is a possibility that the prices might drop further between November 28 and December 1, which is actual Cyber Weekend sale period.
Should I buy directly from Dyson during Black Friday?
You most certainly can buy directly from Dyson during Black Friday, especially since there are exclusive models of vacuums, purifiers and hair styling tools that you won't get anywhere else.
However, if you aren't too fussed about Dyson exclusives, you could likely find a slightly better price at an authorised retailer. The difference between what you'd get as a Dyson exclusive and what's available from authorised stockists is essentially a different colour scheme and less attachments that's included with a specific vacuum cleaner.
What is the best time to buy a Dyson?
When it comes to getting your hands on a Dyson product – whether it be for the home or your glorious tresses – the best time to pick them up is when there's a steep discount.
And the best discounts on pretty much anything is during Black Friday. Last year saw some topnotch offers directly from Dyson, with some bonuses thrown in, but don't ignore the discounts on eBay. Chances are you'll be able to save a little more with a coupon code – with the potential for even better discounts for Plus members – and still shop directly from Dyson's official eBay store.
Then there's Amazon. During major sales, Amazon has had some of the best prices on select Dyson products. And if the identical model is listed at The Good Guys, the retailer will price beat. So definitely shop around.
Dyson Black Friday 2025 deals: predictions
It's every tempting to say that you'll find offers in every single Dyson product in the brand's repertoire for Black Friday, but that would be wishful thinking.
However, considering the latest Dyson vacuum cleaners like the V8 Cyclone and the V9 Submarine are already seeing discounts, don't be surprised if you find them for cheaper.
Also keep an eye on the prices of the older models, starting with the V15 Detect and the Gen5detect. They're surely going to see big discounts, while you could pick up an older V10 or V8 for real cheap.
There was a time when it was pretty rare to see Dyson's haircare products get steep discounts, but we have been seeing upwards of AU$250 in savings on some of these coveted tools.
As for the purifier fans, you'll be able to save hundreds even when shopping directly from Dyson. The one product we don't anticipate seeing a discount on is the Solarcycle Morph lamp, but perhaps Dyson will surprise us this year. And we don't expect the latest V16 Piston Animal vacuum cleaner variants to see a price drop in 2025 either.
