This lesser-known iPhone 17 deal gets you a free device without a trade-in or pricey plan

There's no shortage of excellent iPhone 17 deals on the market right now, but there's only one I've spotted that gets you a free device without a pricey plan or trade-in. Over at Boost Mobile, you can currently get a massive $830 discount when you pair up one of the latest iPhone 17 series handsets with the carrier's Infinite Access for iPhone plan.

This particular plan costs $65 per month, and the discount is technically enough to cover the entire cost of the standard iPhone 17. If you'd prefer a Pro device, then you can still get the discount, but you'll pay a little extra over the $65/mo baseline. Either way, it's a very cheap brand-new iPhone on a cheap (if somewhat basic) unlimited plan.

Boost Mobile's impressive Infinite Access for iPhone deal is back again for the iPhone 17 series, offering an impressive discount that's not tied to the usual trade-in criteria. Right now, you can get $830 off when you bundle-in any of the four new devices alongside the carrier's $65/mo unlimited plan.

If the above Infinite Access deal doesn't appeal, then it's worth noting that Boost also has a fantastic offer that gets you a full year of unlimited plan service when you buy a device upfront. The savings with this particular deal aren't quite as good as the Infinite Access deal at the carrier, however.

Another great option I recommend is bringing a cheap, unlocked device to Boost. The carrier is currently offering new customers an introductory price of just $10/mo for the first two months on its entry-level unlimited plan, which would be a perfect pairing if you've already traded in for a discounted unlocked device at Apple.
