Realme is all set to add yet another series to its growing mid-range devices. The company will unveil the all-new Realme X7 series in China in the company days.
The Realme X7 series will be unveiled on September 1 in China as per the official posting on the micro-blogging platform, Weibo. The device will be unveiled at 2 PM in China which is 11:30 AM in India on September 1.
The teaser on the Weibo also reveals a couple of features. The Realme X7 Pro in China will come with a 120Hz refresh rate and sport an AMOLED screen. The device is also confirmed to support 5G. So, we can expect the device to pack in a Snapdragon 765G or the Snapdragon 690, which are 5G capable SoCs from Qualcomm. Although we don’t have confirmed information on the chipset, we won’t be surprised if the devices will be powered by MediaTek’s dimensity 5G family.
Looking at the two specs confirmed by the company, it all looks like the new X7 series will be the successor to the Realme X2. The X7 series could come with two new devices, the Realme X7 Pro and the vanilla Realme X7. The weibo posts also hint that the devices will come with premium specs and build. The Realme X7 Pro might also pack in a curved screen.
Xu Qi Chase, Vice President of Realme also posted on weibo saying that the Realme X7 series swill be an all-new series and this will expand the company’s 5G portfolio as well. The device is also said to come with a thin and light form factor. He further that this will the best-looking Eealme phone. We also expect at least of these two phones to feature Realme’s new 125W UltraDart charging solution. The device will come with a punch-hole camera at the front and is also expected to bring a fresh design language. And, lastly, the might also bring the huge Realme logo to the back of the device.
