LG 50PG6900 review

LG melds a dual-tuner Freeview+ PVR with a plasma screen with reasonable results

LG 50PG6900
The LG 50PG6900 may not be the slimmest TV out there, but it is still svelte and stylish

TechRadar Verdict

The lack of dual recording disappoints, but the PG6900 has arguably one of the best PVR components seen in a TV and decent HD performance considering its limitations. However, rather lacklustre Freeview pictures let the side down

LG is one of still relatively few manufacturers willing to dip its toes into the world of IDTVs with built-in Freeview+ PVRs.

Its latest effort is the LG PG6900 range comprising 42in and 50in models with 160GB hard discs.
