You can win a £1,000 Amazon voucher and free video doorbells for your whole street this week by sharing a recording of yourself (plus family and friends, if you like) singing a traditional Christmas carol.
Ring has launched a competition called RingAndSing, inspired by five schoolboys from Denny in Scotland, who decided to spread some festive cheer by going door-to-door singing for their neighbours one evening. Jack Campbell, Dylan Thompson, Cameron Bourne, Liam Phillips, and Ollie Shearer were recorded on a Ring doorbell giving a performance of Wham's Last Christmas, and signing off with "Bye, love you."
The recording went viral after the doorbell's owner, Erin Chalmers, shared it on TikTok, where it racked up almost 2 million views. The boys are now fundraising for Strathcarron Hospice, and for every video entered in the RingAndSing competition, Ring will donate a further £10 to the charity.
How to take part
The contest is open to residents of the UK and Ireland from December 8 to December 15. Your video must feature one or more people singing a traditional Christmas carol (such as 'Deck the Halls') and be recorded using your Ring doorbell. Once you're happy with your performance, use the 'Share' button in the Ring app with the hashtag #RingAndSing.
The boys will pick their five favourite performances, and each winner will receive a £1,000 Amazon voucher, plus free doorbells for their whole street. Take a look at the full terms and conditions.
"I can't believe we have been able to give five people a great Christmas through RingAndSing! Merry Christmas everyone, bye love you!" said Dylan.
