The Best Buy Cyber Monday sale has historically been the perfect time to update any home appliances for cheap, or bag some killer bargains on tech. However, many shoppers also aren't sure whether it's worth waiting out the frenzied weekend to see what's left. Here, we'll be running down what we learned from last year's Best Buy Cyber Monday sales, and how to make the most of what's on offer.
Last year, we saw a hugely extended shopping period, with Best Buy's deals leading up to Cyber Monday start near the start of November. This meant that many shoppers got their spending out the way well before any named sales began. Best Buy likely did this to alleviate any stock issues (worries of which were largely unfounded except for the most popular items), meaning when Cyber Monday rolled around, many of the deals had been in and out for weeks.
However, for those looking for products like headphones and cheap TVs, prices remained low and Cyber Monday proved a great time to buy. It's worth noting, however, that compared to years ago, there was less of a push for exclusive Cyber Monday deals, and instead deals lasted for longer, or until they sold out.
Despite the buzz before the weekend, though, Cyber Monday was still the biggest online selling day of the shopping period, with customers spending $10.7 billion over the course of the day, according to Adobe. That's a little less than we saw in 2020, but it's still clear that people aren't afraid to wait throughout the weekend in order to bag an exclusive Cyber Monday offer.
It's a minefield, we know. So, here we've put together an all-we-know piece about the Best Buy Cyber Monday sale, if it's worth waiting for, and what you can expect to see on offer.

When does the Best Buy Cyber Monday sale start?
In 2022, Cyber Monday officially hits on November 28, immediately leading on from the weeks of sales preceding it. We also predict that a number of deals will last through until at least Tuesday, tailing off towards the end of the week.
Is it worth waiting for the Best Buy Cyber Monday sale?
This is a tricky one because, as we said above, Best Buy focused a lot of its energy into early November sales, which saw weekend-level prices stretch out for weeks before. In turn, this had the effect of weakening Cyber Monday's appeal, and while a huge amount of money was spent on Monday, we didn't notice many incredible deals we hadn't seen before.
If we're honest, we'd probably advise you to grab what you want when you see it, rather than waiting around for mega deals that might not end up materializing. However, if you're too busy to get online and have a proper browse over the weekend, Cyber Monday still offers a great opportunity to bag a bargain, since almost all deals roll over from the weekend.
Will there be any stock left for Best Buy Cyber Monday?
In short – yes. Last year we saw retailers carefully control their stock levels, meaning that while some items did go out of stock over the weekend, come Cyber Monday they were back on the shelves. That's important to know, because a major fear is that the best items are likely to fly out the door as soon as Friday hits (or even before), never to restock again.
Do note, though, that for some in-demand items like the PS5, there may well be only one round of sales over the weekend, but for many other products, they're likely to come back into stock at some point on Monday.
