  1. Griffin Evolve review

Evolve. That’s a good name for these speakers. Gone are the speaker cables; instead, you get a base unit that beams music to the speaker boxes wirelessly. Two three-inch aerials do the beaming. Thanks to this clever development, you can take these speakers (either one or both) into the kitchen with you, then pick a speaker up and carry it into the garden – anywhere, in fact, within 150 feet of the base unit.

    Logitech Wireless Headphones review

    Logitech Wireless Headphones review

Much as we love our iPods with the distinctive white earphones, something's missing - or rather, we wish something was missing. It'sthe earphone cord. It snags, it gets in the way and it's old-fashionedin this modern wireless age

    Altec Lansing inMotion iM7 review

    Altec Lansing inMotion iM7 review

    8 Last reviewed

When a piece of hardware is given a name containing the word 'motion', you tend to think it's able to be, you know, carried around a bit. To the beach perhaps. Or the park. And when you first pick it up, this scenario doesn't seem too outlandish

    Altec Lansing iM7 review

    Altec Lansing iM7 review

    8 Last reviewed

The iM7 instantly reminds us of a classic boom box design, except that in the place of a twin cassette deck you get a spring-loaded iPod-dockloading bay that smoothly flips out with a push and click

    Apple iPod Camera Connector review

    Apple iPod Camera Connector review

The iPod photo was a great idea, but it had one major flaw: unlikeother media storage devices, there was no way to directly import imagesfrom your camera or media card. With Apple's £19 iPod Camera Connector...

Anyone who has invested in tiny satellite speaker systems will know that good sound doesn't necessarily have to come only from big speakers. This iPod speaker is a case in point.

    iLuv i603 review

    iLuv i603 review

    8 Last reviewed

Out of all the products currently being peddled by iLuv, this iPod battery recharger has the best build quality we've seen. Whether or not there's demand for it is hard to say given the proliferation of car, desktop and other chargers out there

    Apple iPod Hi-Fi review

    Apple iPod Hi-Fi review

One of the undoubted reasons for the iPod's huge success is the growth of aso-called "iPod economy", a $1-billion dollar industry that specialises in making accessories for Apple's digital music player.

Proporta Leather case for iPhone review

Proporta Leather case for iPhone review

We figured it was only a matter of time before these started washing upon our shores. As if the wait for iPhones wasn't enough, now we have iPhone cases months before the actual phones arrive

    Gear4 HouseParty Blu review

    Gear4 HouseParty Blu review

Gear4's HouseParty Blu is the latest in its HouseParty line-up, and it has the ability to stream music from A2DP-compatible Bluetooth devices in addition to slotting iPods into the dock on its top panel

    Bose SoundDock review

    Bose SoundDock review

    8 Last reviewed

This black version of Bose's award-winning SoundDock was launched last month. The price is unchanged from the white model; the sound is still superb, though sadly no new features have emerged to help justify the price

    XtremeMac Luna review

    XtremeMac Luna review

There's nothing particularly extraordinary about a digital clock radio with an iPod dock, but this one has been really well made, and has all the features you need. Some pride has gone into the design

    iSkin Cerulean TX+RX review

    iSkin Cerulean TX+RX review

    10 Last reviewed

Many of us have iPod speakers, but not all of them have remotes – and even the ones that do can be a pain to use. After all, if you’re sitting on the sofa, you can’t read the iPod screen from the other side of the room, leaving the remote redundant for browsing tracks

    Altec Lansing Orbit-MP3 review

    Altec Lansing Orbit-MP3 review

    8 Last reviewed

This wee speaker, which can easily slip into a pocket, pumps out good sound and goes very loud, considering its size. The case is a single drum with a single driver inside that points out and up.

    Shufflesome iPod Skin review

    Shufflesome iPod Skin review

    8 Last reviewed

Ah, the lonely shuffle. It doesn't get anywhere near the same sales as the other iPods, and has relatively few peripherals and accessories. One band of plucky graphic designers trying to redress the balance is Shufflesome, which has created a great range of many different sticker designs to paste onto them.

    Macally Metro review

    Macally Metro review

    5 Last reviewed

Macally's Metro is a leather holster for the latest (third generation) Nanos. It's an odd design: an open holster for slotting in the iPod that offers no protection for the front of the player, not even a see-through plastic sheet.

    Gear4 BluEye review

    Gear4 BluEye review

Do you own a new-ish iPod? Does your mobile phone boast Bluetooth connectivity? If the answer to both of these questions is yes, you have to buy a BluEye. It's as simple as that.

Have you managed to keep up any fitness-related New Year's resolutions? Yes? Then as a reward, here's something you could buy yourself to keep you going. It's a protective case for the latest iPod nano that works as either an upper armband and wristband, and holds the iPod tight to your body as you move about - it didn't come loose during a quick jog around the park.

    Macally Bella Nano Sleeve review

    Macally Bella Nano Sleeve review

For those who would wear it, this Macally Nano carry pouch for the latest iPod nano is an inexpensive product, available in a variety of colours, that protects your iPod from drops or scratches that might harm it. It does the job, with a transparent screen that you can push commands through onto the iPod click wheel.

This is the simplest iPod dock we've seen from Belkin, and that simplicity is the precise reason why we like it.

Harman Kardon JBL On Stage review

Harman Kardon JBL On Stage review

    8 Last reviewed

The main problem with the On Stage is that it doesn't have batteries, so you are a bit limited as to what you can do with it and where you are able to use it, but it's excellent as far as it goes.
