Samsung's now tipped to announce not one, but three new smartwatches in 2016 with the Gear S3 Classic and a Gear S3 Explorer potentially lining up alongside the Gear S3 Frontier.
A new report - courtesy of SamMobile - suggests the Gear S3 Explorer will feature a crown and buttons corresponding to the two, four and 10 positions on the watch face.
Not much is known about the Gear S3 Classic, but the name has recently been spotted in trademarking documents from Samsung and matches last year's Gear S2 Classic.

Previous rumors suggested the Gear S3 Frontier was set to come with a Rotary bezel as well as a design that makes it easier to switch wristbands. The Frontier is also expected to feature new sensors such as an altimeter, speedometer, and barometer for those with active lifestyles.
Samsung might decide to include those sensors across the range, but with a name like Frontier it's likely they will be the key selling point for this Gear S3 model.
It's expected Samsung will announce the trio of wearable devices at IFA 2016 in September, following on from the Gear S2 announcement at last year's show.
Whether the names prove correct is yet to be seen, but after Samsung released two models of the Gear S2 last year it wouldn't be a massive surprise if the company opted for a third sibling device in the Gear S3 line.
