My personal recommendations include this Asus Vivobook S16 OLED for £699 (was £999). It's a fantastic price for a powerful and modern laptop that sports an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of RAM, a large 1TB SSD for storage, and a sharp 16-inch OLED display. That's everything you'd want in a brilliant premium laptop for anything you want to throw at it – outside of gaming.
Other highlights include deals on TVs from Hisense, LG, and Samsung from £94.99, big price cuts of up to £500 off major appliances, and this Dyson V8 with a mountain of accessories for £249 (was £399.99).
Check out all of my top picks from the Currys Epic Deals sale below. The retailer hasn't announced when the event ends, but it'll likely run through into at least next week to coincide with the second Prime Day of the year from Oct 7 - 8.

Display: 16-inch OLED
Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB
I highly rate this Asus Vivobook S16 OLED when it comes to value for money for a premium laptop. For £700, you get a powerful machine with a modern Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of RAM and a large 1TB SSD. Plus, there's also a crisp and bright OLED display – something you usually only see on much higher-end machines. These specs are great for all-around use, multitasking and some more demanding work, as well as watching your favourite shows and movies at the end of the day.
LG has been crushing it in the world of TVs over the last few years, and its latest C5 is another strong contender for one of the best OLED TVs you can buy right now. This latest version boasts the same fantastic contrast, rich blacks, impressive brightness and vivid colours of previous models in the range, making it ideal for all sorts of viewing. It's also a top TV for PS5 and Xbox Series X, with support for a 120Hz refresh rates and minimal input lag to get the smoothest and most responsive gaming experience.
As the name suggests, the Shark Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Vacuum is all about detangling messy pet hair. It can deal with your short or long hair too, while its DuoClean floorhead can cope with carpet and hard floors. I've had one of these for a few years now and it's been a game-changer: powerful, efficient, long-lasting, and no more detangling the brush roll after every use. It's a great price for this model and a bunch of accessories.
If you want a cheap, no-frills, and easy-to-use coffee machine then you'll struggle to find a more suitable option than this De'Longhi option. It won't brew the most delicious or premium drinks in the world but with a wide array of pods available (including the free 36 capsules included in the bundle) it certainly makes up for it when it comes to convenience and cost.
Ninja's space-saving air fryer has been slightly cheaper in the past, but this is still a good price for the XL version of the popular and well-rated appliance. We loved it here at TechRadar, scoring it full marks in our Ninja Double Stack Air Fryer review and even giving it a place in our best air fryer buying guide. Well-built and great-looking on any countertop, it offers five cooking levels across two drawers and two racks, while the larger 9.5L capacity is ideal for big families.
Display - 14-inches
Processor - Intel Core 5
RAM - 16GB
Storage - 512GB
Even though it's a slightly older laptop, there's a terrific combination of specs for the price in this Asus Vivobook 14, including an Intel Core 5 processor, a performance-boosting 16GB of RAM and a decent-sized 512GB SSD. These can make work and everyday tasks a breeze. You also get the benefit of a battery life of up to 12 hours, as well as a slim 14-inch display that makes this ideal for portability.
Samsung's lineup of Crystal UHD TVs is less feature-rich compared to the pricier OLED and QLED displays, but they are a capable and affordable option for general everyday viewing. This 65-inch model is now available at a tempting low price in the latest Currys sale if you don't need all the fancy features of a premium TV. For the money, you get a large and modern TV that supports high-quality 4K resolution and all the most popular streaming apps.
We love the Dyson V8. Not only is it our pick for one of the top cheap vacuums, but it's also one of the best Dyson vacuums – period. It's a little older now, but this is still a more-than-capable vacuum and also comes with all the attachments you need to clean around the home. Given its age and basic features, it's a struggle to recommend it at its full price, but now it's £150 off at Currys, it's an easy recommendation.
Here's one of the biggest discounts I've seen on Ninja's newest and most portable air fryer. This bundle includes the PowerPod lid, plus two resealable glass containers to carry your dishes until you're ready to cook. According to our testing, it cooks exceptionally quickly, is easy to use and is a breeze to clean, making this air fryer worth snapping up while it's on offer – even if it was slightly cheaper on Prime Day.
Display - 14 inches
Processor - Intel Core i5
RAM - 8GB
Storage - 256GB
Chromebooks tend to be the better choice in this price range as they offer better value for money and get stronger performance from relatively cheaper components. Nevertheless, I think this Lenovo IdeaPad Slim is an excellent Windows device. It has a solid mid-range spec, including 8GB of RAM, an Intel i5 processor and battery life of around eight hours, which is enough to cover the basics. That makes it best-suited to general everyday use, word processing, streaming shows, web browsing, video calls, and answering emails.
If you're looking for a good-sized budget display, you can't get much better than this Hisesne 55-inch 4K TV that's on sale for £329 at Currys. The Hisense A6Q sports 4K Ultra HD resolution support, a direct-lit LED array for respectable brightness and contrast, and Dolby Vision HDR for superior colours. Access to all of your favourite streaming apps is just a button press away, too. All of this for a little over £300? Bargain.
White feels like a brave colour choice for this popular and well-rated Ninja Foodi Max Air Fryer. Nevertheless, the discount at Currys brings the best-selling appliance back to its record-low price, so it's a good buy if you're prepared to wipe it down after every use due to inevitable food stains. It could be worth it, though, given how convenient it is, with six easy-to-use cooking functions and a dual drawer setup, which can cook separate foods and sync timers to finish simultaneously.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is down to a great low price in the latest Currys sale. This version has a fairly basic processor, a reasonable 11-inch screen and 64GB of storage, so expect slightly slower performance and struggles with games or multitasking. However, if you only need a very basic tablet for light use – including general browsing, emails and watching videos – then it's up to the task and very affordable.
Display - 15.6 inches
Processor - Snapdragon X Plus
RAM - 16GB
Storage - 256GB
This is a good price for a powerful configuration of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. It comes with a 15.6-inch HD display and one of the latest Snapdragon X Plus processors that boasts strong all-around performance and an excellent battery life of over 24 hours. We called these out as the main positives in our Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge review, along with the sleek and thin overall design. An AMOLED display and more storage would have been nice (and is was £50 cheaper in the past) but this is still a solid mid-range laptop if you need speed, performance, and responsiveness for coding, multitasking, and creative tasks.
