New Spider-Man: Brand New Day story leaks emerge online as filming reportedly wraps on Tom Holland's next Marvel movie
Spidey's next MCU adventure could be even more eventful than his last
- Filming has reportedly wrapped on Spider-Man: Brand New Day
- The Marvel movie's new logo and title card have also been revealed
- New story leaks make it sound even busier than Spider-Man: No Way Home
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is just six months away – at the time of writing – from release. It would be a relief to hear, then, how filming is progressing.
Thankfully, it sounds like it's almost done. According to X/Twitter user WilliamD1123, who seemingly worked as a graphics assistant on the Marvel movie, principal photography has wrapped. And to celebrate that fact, the film's crew was gifted a wrap gift that appears to show Spider-Man 4's official logo and title card typography.

Neither Marvel or Sony have confirmed the cameras have stopped rolling on Brand New Day yet, so it's possible that some crew members have already finished working on it.
If individuals like WilliamD1123 have completed work on Spider-Man's next big-screen adventure, it might not be long before its shooting schedule is done and dusted. Considering filming began on Spider-Man 4 in early August, plus the fact Christmas is right around the corner, I wouldn't be surprised if principal photography has already wrapped, or will do so in the next few days.
A web of wild story leaks
As reports emerge that filming might have wrapped on the Marvel Phase 6 movie, some new plot leaks have also appeared online. And, if you thought Spider-Man: No Way Home's story and character roster were busy enough, it seems like Brand New Day will give it a run for its money.
Before you proceed, bear in mind that these are just rumors from someone whose track record is pretty mixed when it comes to story leaks, so I'd advise you to view them with a degree of skepticism. If you don't want to know anything that may happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) flick, I suggest leaving now, too, because potential spoilers immediately follow for Spider-Man 4.
According to Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, Brand New Day will see the webslinger and fellow Marvel hero Bruce Banner/The Hulk confront their traumatic pasts and inner demons. The latter will reportedly be angrier than we've ever seen him and (whisper it quietly) might even kill someone.

Elsewhere, industry insider DanielRPK has indicated Spidey will team up with Frank Castle/The Punisher to fight Gray Hulk. If that doesn't sound wild enough, DanielRPK has also claimed that The Hand – an ancient, nefarious clan of ninjas more commonly associated with Daredevil and Wolverine – are part of Spider-Man 4.
I want to reiterate that Perez and DanielRPK aren't wholly reliable leakers. The pair have got things right before, but they've also thrown dirt at the wall that hasn't stuck, so their track records are decidedly mixed. I imagine there's an element of truth to some of the above, but I wouldn't bet on all of it being accurate.
The likelihood is we'll have to wait for the movie's first trailer to drop before we can verify some of this. When will that be? Probably when Sony holds its CinemaCon 2026 presentation, which runs April 13 to 16. In the meantime, read up on everything we know so far about Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
