I swear by this Dyson stick vac, especially now it’s cheaper than ever for Cyber Week
Score a Dyson vacuum with an actual laser for $399
Life sucks... in a good way when it comes to Dyson. And thanks to some Cyber Monday deals that are still bubbling away after the day itself in the so-called Cyber Week deals, you can score a Dyson V12 Detect Slim on sale for $399 at Dyson (was $729.99).

Now that's a heck of a price cut for a super stick vacuum that comes with a frickin' laser. And as someone with a Dyson V12 Detect Slim, I can attest to not only how good the vacuum is but how genuinely useful the laser is on detecting tiny dust particles on surfaces that would render them practically invisible. So while $399 is still a chunk of change for a Dyson stick vac, I think it's a bit of a bargain.

The V12 Detect Slim has a massive $330 off at Dyson for Cyber Week. It's lightweight yet powerful (with 150AW of suction) and packed with the kind of tech that's usually reserved for much pricier, flagship Dyson vacuums. With this discount, it's down to its lowest-ever price, and it's my hot pick of the sales.
While I'm not as versed with all things suction like Homes Editor Ruth Hamilton, I've used a good few Dyson vacuum cleaners and even visited the company's HQ in Malmesbury, England.
So while brands like Shark have started nipping at the heels of Dyson, I still think the latter makes impeccably engineered products that have an almost-obsessive level of detail when it comes to finessing dust filtration, performance, and the vacuuming experience; trust me, I've seen Dyson's dust lab and stood in its noise isolation chamber.
I have to say the Dyson V12 Detect Slim is one of my favorite bits of practical tech I own, and I do mean tech, as the amount of filtration and dust detection has made this stick vac seem almost sci-fi. It's no wonder it got a very strong 4 out of 5 stars in our Dyson V12 Detect Slim review, with the only downsides being a small bin and not as much power as its larger siblings.
I think the V12 Detect Slim is ideal for people with apartments, as that small bin isn't really a shortcoming in smaller homes. It's also just a fun stick vac to use, especially when you literally laser-target some dust for suction with extreme prejudice.
This Dyson deal may stick around for a few days, as could the other deals below, but I'd not gamble on that. So if you're after a new Dyson or want to give your vacuum cleaning a tech glow-up, this cut-price V12 Detect Slim is well worth your attention.
