Boom! The flagship GoPro Hero 13 Black falls to its lowest-ever price – this is the DJI-beating deal I'd act on
GoPro's best-ever action camera sinks to a scarcely believable low price

Want the best action camera money can buy? I've tested all the flagship models from GoPro, DJI, Insta360, and more, and my top pick is the GoPro Hero 13 Black – a camera that I billed as 'the future of action camera design'. The good news is that you can bag one for a whole lot less in the Prime Day sales – the Ultra Wide Edition costs just $329.99 at Amazon US (was $479.99) while the standard bundle costs £309 at Amazon UK (was £399).
These are the biggest price cuts I've seen for GoPro's flagship action camera, and they're some of the top deals in the Amazon sales. There are several other Hero 13 Black bundles on sale too – I’ve got my eye on the Hero 13 Black in ‘Forest Green’ colorway – now just £329 at Amazon UK.
It's not the only action camera deal worth considering, though, especially if you're a DJI fan. I've included other bargains below, too. You'll also want to check out our Amazon Prime Day live coverage, where the TechRadar team is sharing all of the standout deals over the Prime Day sales, which run until October 7.
Today's best GoPro Hero 13 Black Prime Day deal (US)
Not only is $329.99 the lowest price we've seen for the Hero 13 Black, but it's also for the Ultra Wide Edition bundle, which includes the Ultra Wide Mod. This deal beats the previous low price by $50 – bargain! And with this deal, you'll be able to appreciate the Hero 13 Black's stand-out upgrade from the Hero 12 Black – Lens Mod auto compatibility, which I billed as the future of action camera design.
Today's best GoPro Hero 13 Black Prime Day deal (UK)
Landing back to its lowest-ever price in the UK, the Hero 13 Black costs just £309 for the standard bundle, or you can upgrade to the Accessories bundle for £379.99 and get an additional battery, memory card, and selfie stick. Fancy a different colourway? Try the Forest Green standard bundle for £329.
There's a three-way tussle between GoPro, DJI, and Insta360 for the best action camera crown, and each brand has its own take on the format. So why do I still rate GoPro's Hero 13 Black as the best of the bunch?
Look beyond its 5.7K sensor and leading Hypersmooth stabilization skills, and you'll find a standout upgrade from the Hero 12 Black – auto-detected Lens Mods. That's right, you can swap out the standard lens for others in the range for different looks – be it ultra-wide, anamorphic, or macro, and the camera automatically detects which lens is in place.
Yes, Lens Mods and ND filters are pricey extras, but they give another string to your bow and led me to call the Hero 13 Black 'the future of action camera design' in my Hero 13 Black review.
Still, it might not be the model for you, so do check out the best DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro deals I've found below, plus how the two models compare.
