Right now, you can pick up to two devices without needing to trade anything in — a rare level of flexibility for a major promotion. Even better, eligibility only requires a line on the carrier’s entry-level Essentials plan.

That low barrier to entry is what makes this deal stand out. With T-Mobile’s multi-line discounts, you can get two lines for as little as $90 per month in total, making it a genuinely affordable way to outfit multiple people with brand-new devices. The new iPhone 17e was already quite affordable, but including it with one of the better value postpaid unlimited plans on the market is particularly compelling.

There is one caveat, however, in that this particular promotion is eligible for new customers only — specifically those porting in a number from a rival carrier. As an overview, the iPhone 17e starts at $599 / £599, which is the same price as the previous iPhone 16e. On the surface, this new device looks like a rather iterative generation, but there are quite a few meaningful upgrades that make it an even better value device than the previous model.

For one, the iPhone 17e now runs on the new A19 chip, which is the same processor as the standard iPhone 17 series. That should give you a nice bump in performance overall in everything from games to everyday use.

Beyond the chipset, Apple has made a few practical improvements. The iPhone 17e's base storage has been bumped up to 256GB with no price increase. Wireless charging has also been improved with Magsafe support, and you get a few next-generation portrait features with enhanced Focus and Depth Control. In addition, there are also a few new colors to consider, such as the eye-catching 'soft pink'.
