A new version of the Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet was only released about a year ago – and it's back to its record-low price for Prime Big Deal Days. Prime Day tech gadgets under $30
The Apple AirTag is Amazon's top-selling tech gadget, and it's on sale for only $20, a record-low price. If you tend to misplace your keys or wallet or want to track your luggage, just attach the AirTag to anything you don't want to lose, and your iPhone will locate the item.
Need a cheap streaming device to add smart capabilities to a TV? The new version of Amazon's standard Fire TV Stick is half price when you apply the code HDFTVADD at checkout. In our Fire TV Stick review, we found the original version was a cheap way to add essential smart features to your TV, including access to streaming apps in HD, Alexa voice controls, and the ability to control other smart home devices.
The top-rated Etekcity scale is on sale for just $21.58. The smart scale can measure your body's body fat ratio, BMI, bone mass, and muscle mass, as well as your weight, and provides a more detailed way to check in with your health and understand what that number on the scale actually means.

I had to double-check when I saw this price – a staggering 73% off Amazon's handy Echo Auto. If you've ever wanted to add Alexa to your car, the Echo Auto is the device to do it - play music, make calls, and reply to texts completely hands-free.
If you're a fan of Apple products and on a budget, Apple's wired headphones are on sale for only $15.99 - a record-low price. I already own a couple of these devices, and at just $24.99, it's time to stock up again. The TP-Link AC1200 boosts Wi-Fi internet coverage up to 1,500 square feet and connects up to 30 devices. It's been lower in the past, but is still a great deal for your home or office.
This is a sleek desk lamp from Honeywell with LED lights, which means you won't need to keep replacing bulbs. There are 4 brightness modes. But what I really like are the built-in USB-A and USB-C ports for charging your phone.
I thought this was a great price for a 5-pack of 128GB USB pen drives. We've reviewed a number of PNY storage devices and they're pretty good at the budget end.
Not a massive discount, but a cheap and flexible USB drive here that offers 256Gb storage space but - more interestingly - has both USB-A and USB-C connections.

Prime Day deals you need under $50
The viral Beckham Hotel Collection pillows are consistently top sellers during holiday sales like Black Friday and Prime Day, and the queen-size set is currently on sale for $47.97 when you apply the additional discount. The queen-size pillows have garnered over 240,000 positive reviews and are the number one best-selling pillow on Amazon's site.
The Ninja Blast Portable Blender is Ninja's best-selling personal-sized blender for smoothies, slushies, and shakes. It comes with a USB-rechargeable base, so you don't need to swap batteries every few months, and a leakproof lid with a carrying handle. Its convenient, grab-and-go design stood out to our reviewer, who gave it four out of five stars. This is the second-best price I've seen for the Ninja Blast after it fell to $39.99 at the end of last year.
The best-selling Fire TV Stick 4K streams shows and movies on your TV in ultra-high-definition 4K resolution and is also on sale for just $24.99, thanks to Amazon's 50% discount. It's a solid streaming stick with access to all the major apps and support for voice controls through Alexa.
Looking to buy a smart speaker for a small space? Amazon's October Prime Day deals include the all-new Echo Pop for just $24.99 - the cheapest Echo device you can buy right now. For that money, you're getting a compact smart speaker with Alexa built in, so you can play music, ask questions, and check the weather completely hands-free.
If you're looking for a more robust sound, Amazon also has the Echo Dot for $34.99. Amazon's best-selling smart speaker offers an improved audio experience, plus a new temperature sensor and all the handy features from Alexa, like playing music, answering questions, and checking the weather completely hands-free.
The Echo Spot is already in my shopping cart, and I can't wait for it to arrive. Amazon's brand-new Echo Spot pairs a 2.83-inch touch screen with a 1.73-inch front-firing speaker, making it an ideal smart alarm clock. With Alexa onboard, you can ask the assistant for the weather, play music, or even schedule alarms. Today's Prime Day deal shaves $35 off the retail price.
Amazon also has the Blink Mini 2, released in 2024, on sale for just $19.99. The compact security camera features two-way audio and will alert your phone when motion is detected. The Blink 2 also features a 1080p HD live view, color night vision with a built-in spotlight, and a wider field of view.

The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 is a cheap-and-cheerful fitness tracker that really fits the bill if you're on a budget: it lasts a week between charges and provides access to the comprehensive Samsung Health suite of features. We rated it "impressively cheap for the amount of features" in our review.
The Amazon Echo Buds have all the features you could want from a basic pair of earbuds at a bargain price. As well as active noise cancellation and customizable sound, there’s also multipoint pairing for using the buds between two devices at the same time. Battery life of up to five hours is reasonable, while the charging case adds an extra 15 hours. Plus, they work equally as well with Android phones as they do with iOS devices. If you want the advantages of wireless charging, you can pay an extra $10 for a version with the wireless charging case.
This is the lowest price I've seen to date by $3 (the closest sales price was $55.98, earlier in the year) on these excellent and highly-rated noise-cancelling over-ear headphones – and 34% off is huge, given how much I love these cans. As we said in our 4.5-star review of the Wave Pro, "It would be silly to ask for more from budget wireless headphones," and with a January 2024 release date, they're also the relative new kids on the block. Oh, and their 80-hour battery means you're good for the long haul. Our advice? This is still one very good deal.
Yes, the look here (unlike the splendid Earfun cans above) is decidedly retro Bose QC35 II, and personally I'm a fan. Also a plus: the price – just look at that discount on a set of over-ears that only arrived in May of this year! They're not our favorite set of cans in Earfun's arsenal (that would be the Wave Pro above; we found the ANC modes in the Tune Pro a little confusing and the sound middling – read about it in our Earfun Tune Pro review), but for battery life, they're exceptional at up to 120 hours with ANC off, or 80 hours with it on. The discount is also their lowest ever seen – they were briefly discounted to $52.99 last Prime Day proper, so you know it's a good deal.
These earbuds are an update on the class-leading (but older) Earfun Air Pro 3, and honestly, you won't find this kind of higher-resolution Bluetooth codec support elsewhere for this money – to clarify, they support both Sony's proprietary LDAC and Qualcomm's aptX Lossless. This 30% saving on earbuds that only arrived in February (see our full Earfun Air Pro 4 review for everything we loved and one or two things we didn't love) is absolutely worth it, if you need earbuds.
This two-pack of 1,000-lumen bulbs is a lot cheaper than those on offer from premium rivals. These A19-shaped LED bulbs have an E26 base and are Wi-Fi enabled, so they can be controlled remotely using smart home assistants or the Govee Home app. There's a very generous $10 off right now, making this the perfect time to create or expand your smart home system.
There's a fabulous $24 discount on my favorite smart lamp thanks to this Prime Day deal. This aesthetically pleasing little color capsule is wonderfully adaptable, whether you want bright white hues for focusing, warm tones for winding down, or captivating and colorful scenes for attention-grabbing lighting effects, all of which led me to score it 4.5 stars in my review.
Minecraft one of the new additions to the Lego Advent Calendar range. It comes with 24 surprises behind its doors, including 8 Minifigures to build. In the world of holiday countdown calendars, the Lego Star Wars kit has always been the one to watch. For 2025, it's a solid set that's made even better with a discount down to $31.49. This Lego Frozen Advent Calendar goes beyond the rest, because along with 24 surprises to help you count down to the holidays, this one also has a game built into the box. Of course, you do get figures for mainstays of the film like Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, as well as a sleigh pulled by Sven. You'll also get several mini builds, which depict moments from Frozen and Frozen 2. At Amazon, you can get the Lego Disney Frozen Advent Calendar for $38 from the $44.99 MSRP.
Just like Lego City, Lego Friends is one of the most popular themes, and this Advent calendar is perfect for fans. Just like the rest of the calendar lineup you'll get 24 surprise items, including 5 Lego Friends Minidolls and several animal figures. You'll also get mini builds to let you create a cozy holiday celebration. This holiday countdown kit is currently available for just $25.49 on Amazon.
This external 512GB desktop SSD from SSK is one of the cheapest external SSDs I can find with the highest capacity for the price (although if you tip over the $50 limit, you'll find a good few more, including a 1TB model for $57). Not the fastest, but it is cheap.
You won't find many higher-capacity portable SSDs under $50, but this is one of them from SSK, who we've reviewed pretty well considering it's a budget make. Also available in 250GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB versions.
If you own a standing desk, this is a must-buy - it addresses my biggest problem with height-adjustable desks: cable management. Clever design that requires no drilling or gluing, too.
This compact HP printer is an all-in-one all-rounder with print, copy, scan, and fax capabilities. Not the fastest speeds in the world (7.5ppm in mono, 5.5 ppm in color) but suitable for everyday print runs. And it includes 3 months' free instant ink.

This basic dental flosser comes from a relatively unknown brand, but it covers all the bases and is incredibly cheap when compared to big-name brands such as Waterpik. With multiple brush heads, a compact size, good battery life, and a large reservoir, it's one of the better options available if it's your first time trying a water flosser.
Amazon Prime Day is an excellent opportunity to stock up on household essentials, including batteries, which are a must-have for the upcoming holidays. The retailer has a 24-pack of AA Duracell batteries for only $18.64.
A home office essential - at least in my office - these 3x3in Post-it notes boast double the stickiness of your usual sticky notes. This is a 6-pack with 70 sheets per pad.
This is a handy kitchen device that I own, and I can't imagine living without it. For just $15.99, this powerful handheld frother can whip up delicious foamy creamer for your drinks at home in seconds.
Crest White Strips are rarely discounted outside of holiday sales, such as Prime Day, which is why this deal is so popular. You get 48 whitening strips plus a bonus pair of one-hour express strips so that you can have a whiter smile in no time. Today's Prime Day deal is just $2 shy of the record-low price.
This stain treater is the GOAT. No, really - it removes any stain I throw at it and can be used on clothes, upholstery, and carpets, so I'm never without it. It's been a best-seller at this year's Prime Day sale, and now it's on sale for only $25.49.

Arguably, the best Prime Day Kindle deal is on the top-of-the-line Amazon Kindle Scribe. It's the priciest model (aside from the new color variant), but today's deal brings it right down to a brand-new record-low price. This particular model isn't just a premium ereader, but also a digital notebook that's perfect for doodling or taking notes.

Cheap Prime Day laptop deals
Processor: MediaTek
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 64GB
This Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is a very basic device, but it's ridiculously cheap, making it a good buy for general web browsing, admin tasks and schoolwork. It won't offer great performance and will struggle with anything beyond light use, but the lean ChromeOS gets more from the entry-level components and ensures a lengthy full-day battery life.
Processor: Intel N200
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 64GB
Here's another fairly basic Chromebook, but this one comes with a welcome bump up to 8GB of RAM to help boost performance. It's still best-suited to general use because of the entry-level processor and limited storage space, but it's up to the job of web browsing, light work, writing documents, and streaming media. Plus, you get the superior battery life of up to 11.5 hours with this HP Chromebook, which is much more compared to similarly priced Windows machines.
Processor: Intel Core i3
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 128GB
If you'd prefer a similar Windows machine for the same price as the Chromebook above, then this HP Laptop 15 is also down to $239.99 at Best Buy. This is one to buy if you want a Windows laptop for general everyday use, word processing, streaming shows, web browsing, video calls, or answering emails.

We're big fans of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet at TechRadar, so I definitely want to share this price cut on the flexible 11-inch laptop. In our very positive Lenovo Chromebook Duet review, we thought the original version offered an excellent balance between tablet portability and Chromebook flexibility. This version has 4GB of RAM for acceptable performance with light use and a healthy 128GB of storage. Plus, the day-long battery life is a huge boost for those who are always on the go.
Processor: Ryzen 5
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 512GB
If you're looking for a cheap machine to handle the basics, then this Dell 15 laptop is almost unbelievably affordable thanks to Dell's discounts this week. Processor: Intel Core i7
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 512GB
It's been $30 cheaper before, but this is still one of the best mid-range laptop deals I've spotted right now at Best Buy. It's a slightly older machine, but it still packs in some powerful components for the price, including a souped-up Intel Core 7 processor, a performance-boosting 16GB of RAM and a reasonably large 512GB SSD. If you want a capable all-around machine at a fantastic price, you can't really go wrong with this one.
Processor: Intel Ultra 7
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB
The Dell 14 Plus is one of our favorite mid-range Windows laptops thanks to its excellent design and competitive specs. This particular configuration is a bit on the pricey end, but you do get an Ultra 7 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 2.5K display, meaning it's absolutely stacked with features. If I were looking for a decent everyday laptop for everything from work to demanding productivity applications, then I'd be very tempted by this deal.
