Nokia N93i review

What a difference a single letter makes

The N93i has more than a little of the futuristic about it

TechRadar Verdict

This is still a fantastic camcorder considering it's a phone first and foremost, but we'd like to see improvements focused less on looks and more on performance

Pros

  • +

    Futuristic looks

    Easy to use

    Great video for a phone!

Cons

  • -

    Poor low-light performance

    Improvements are mainly cosmetic

Around about the same time as the world's first citizen journalists were finding an audience, Nokia launched a mobile phone that fully embraced pocket videomaking: the N93. It was the first phone that actually operated, and looked, like a camcorder.

The downside? The dimensions weren't too far off a camcorder, either. Now Nokia is back with the N93i - a significantly different looking beast. Have they made enough improvements on the inside to warrant an upgrade?
