The Garmin Fenix 8, for example, has its price slashed by $250 at Best Buy in the US, and gets a £120 price cut at Very in the UK. This is a top-tier modern fitness watch rather than the older models that usually get discounts, and as a Garmin expert who's tested pretty much every modern watch the company's put out, I wasn't expecting any significant discounts on it this year.
There are plenty of other great deals available, including outstanding half-price discounts on my old favorite, the Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2), as well as cheaper watches for budget-conscious fitness enthusiasts. Check out the deals in full below – and of course, you can visit our Black Friday deals hub for all the early discounts so far.

Save a massive $450 in this early Black Friday deal on the smaller 42mm Garmin Epix Pro standard edition. With an updated Elevate V5 heart rate sensor, multi-band GPS and an LED flashlight, it's the blueprint for a modern Garmin watch: fast, accurate and built like a tank. It's got 16GB storage for music and GPX maps.

Save a slightly proportionately smaller 45% (but still an impressive $450) off the base price of the 41mm and 47mm Sapphire edition Epix Pro (Gen 2) models. Functionally, the only difference is the harder Sapphire glass that makes up the screen, but it's worth noting all sizes are available here.
<p>While the 41mm and 47mm are the same price, the <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com%2FGarmin-Performance-Smartwatch-Technology-Flashlight%2Fdp%2FB0BYFCZZ9F%2Fref%3Dsr_1_3%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-20%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-20">51mm version has been reduced from $1,099 to $607.Read moreRead less▼
$250 off the five-star Garmin Fenix 8. Given we usually see big discounts on older models, this unusual discount means you can get a terrific up-to-date adventure watch for less. Huge battery life, advanced strength training features in addition to all the adventuring stuff, an LED flashlight... It's packed with features.
<p>The larger <a href="https://bestbuy.7tiv.net/c/1943169/614286/10014?subId1=hawk-custom-tracking&sharedId=hawk&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bestbuy.com%2Fproduct%2Fgarmin-fenix-8-amoled-sapphire-gps-smartwatch-51mm-fiber-reinforced-polymer-carbon-gray-dlc-titanium-2024%2FJXF9YF5HCQ">51mm version has also been reduced by $250, from $1,199 to $949 at Best Buy.Read moreRead less▼
The brand new for 2025 Garmin Instinct 3 is $100 off at Best Buy right now, in its solar-powered form. The MIP display is duller than AMOLED, but more battery efficient: it also hides Power Glass technology, which incorporates a solar panel to lengthen the watch's battery life. Together with a smorgasbord of features and rugged construction, it's a watch built for the outdoors.

The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is ideal for joggers, cyclists and gym-goers looking for a cheaper Garmin watch that can also act as an Apple Watch alternative. It's very light and comfortable to wear, has great fitness tracking features, and is more suitable for slimmer wrists and office-wear than big, chunky adventure watches.

Save an impressive £120 on the Garmin Fenix 8, which we called in our review "rugged, expensive perfection". It's packing exceptional features, accurate metrics, and is great for running, hiking, cycling, climbing, swimming... all forms of adventuring. No wonder it earned five stars in our review. It's reportedly 'selling fast' according to Very, so don't miss out!

A better-than-half-price deal on the Garmin Epix Pro Sapphire in its 47mm size and Whitestone colorway. This was the size I used to run the London Marathon, and I found it perfect as a man of average build. Its advanced running features were instrumental in helping me cross the line.

The ever-popular Garmin Forerunner 55 just hit its lowest-ever price on Very. It's a good deal on a great beginner's fitness watch, with powerful, personalised guidance that'll take you from your first Couch to 5K programme all the way up to half-marathon distance. Predicted finish times and PacePro technologies keep you on track.

A more up-to-date option than the Forerunner 55, the 165 is a great deal at this price, featuring lots of advanced running features like race-adaptive training plans. The training plan on your watch will automatically adjust depending on your performance – for example, if you're doing better than expected, it'll recommend longer distances or faster runs. How cool is that?

A better-than-half-price deal on an older Garmin Venu 2 smartwatch. The Venu 4 is out now with updated features, but at this price, the Venu 2 is a great buy for active people looking for an alternative to an Apple Watch, perhaps something with longer battery life (11 days!). It's packing the Garmin Pay virtual wallet feature, and stores up to 650 songs.
How to choose a Garmin watch in the Black Friday deals
Your first port of call should be our guide to the best Garmin watches, but the main way to choose is probably price. If you're an active person that likes to get outside, any of the Garmin watches above will be great for you. However, where you are in your fitness journey will dictate which watch you should get.
If you're a jogger, cyclist or gym-goer just starting out, the Garmin Forerunner 55, Garmin Vivoactive series or Garmin Forerunner 165 is going to be ideal for you. These watches contain some smart features, but don't bog you down with metrics you don't need or use, and typically use cheaper materials like plastics over metals.
If you're a more experienced runner, cyclist or triathlete looking for a watch to give you an edge, you're likely going to want a heavy-duty fitness tool like the Garmin Epix or Fenix series. Hikers and campers will enjoy these watches too, with the Garmin Instinct 3 as a cheaper alternative.
