The Dell XPS 13 is $400 off at the official store today — the perfect back to school deal for students, teachers, or anyone
A massive discount on one of our favorite high-end laptops
Regardless of whether you're headed off to college or just looking for a really good laptop deal, this week's 'back to school' sale at the official Dell Store is well worth checking out. It's listing some great value options currently, including this Dell XPS 13 for just $999.99 (was $1,399).
A massive $400 price cut makes this premium laptop a compelling choice if you're looking for something a little special. The XPS range has always been consistently highly rated here at TechRadar, and this device is no exception.
Under the hood, this configuration features a Snapdragon X Elite X chipset, 32GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. Aside from the relatively small storage, this XPS 13 is packed with impressive components for the price and should have no issues with even relatively demanding applications.
Of course, the main selling point for the XPS 13 is its stunningly lightweight design and premium build quality. It's a machine that's perfect for those who want something portable — especially since the Snapdragon chipset here will provide outstanding battery life.
Today's best XPS 13 deal at Dell
Processor: Snapdragon X Elite X
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 512GB SSD
One of the best deals on the entire Dell site is undoubtedly this discount on the latest Snapdragon-equipped Dell XPS 13. This stylish and lightweight machine is perfect for those who want battery life and performance in a premium package. This particular configuration also includes 32GB of RAM, which is a very rare thing at this price. Note: this is a Snapdragon chipset model, so make sure all your obscure apps are supported.
The above listing isn't the only XPS 13 deal available at the official Dell Store this week. You can also get a great price on an Intel-based configuration, which I've included just below.
The main differences between an Intel-based XPS 13 and a Snapdragon configuration are that the chipsets use a different architecture. In layman's terms, they both run Windows 11 smoothly, but some specialist applications may not be supported on the Snapdragon version. You'll definitely want to make sure everything you need is supported before you jump on board.
Also available at Dell today...
Processor: Intel Core Ultra 7-256V
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB
If you'd prefer a machine with an Intel chipset, then there's also a great deal on this XPS 13 with an Ultra Core 7. In terms of power, there's plenty of performance on tap here - and the Ultra 7 is also surprisingly power efficient in terms of battery life. Annoyingly, this machine only comes with 16GB of RAM, but you do get a much bigger 1TB SSD as a bonus.
