"Potentially, the DM100 is a worthwhile receiver – its small size, AV performance, external power and networkability give it unique character. But it's let down by stupid mistakes: a fundamental recording incompatibility, a 'blind search' option that doesn't work as it should, an e-mail client that crashes the receiver, a recording timer and EPG that are near useless and a tendency to run out of memory. Little is currently made of the DM100's networking and USB ports. Until improved firmware is released, then, we cannot recommend the DM100."
