The Cricut Maker 4 works with over 300 different materials, from vinyl to iron-on, leather, posterboard, and plenty more. It’s able to cut great designs precisely. It’s compatible with home inkjet printers, and you can use the Design Space app to create whatever you have in mind. It also comes with enough supplies for up to 10 projects. The only limitation here is your imagination.

Our Cricut Maker 4 review gave it a very respectable four stars out of five. Calling it “as crafty as you want to be.” It’s a “worthy upgrade to Cricut’s astonishing cutting machines,” by being faster and more precise than earlier models. Our reviewer was able to “produce artistic and professional crafts, clothes and decorations that [they] could never have made without this machine.”

The Design Space software needs some work, but power through it, and you get precise, professional results. It’s a “must-have for chronic crafters.” Expect to devote plenty of time to it to get the best results, but the Cricut Maker 4 will come into its own once you have a project in mind. Being able to cut thicker material than your average Cricut, such as wood and leather, is a huge advantage, too.

For other great crafting ideas, take a look at the best laser engravers currently out there. You may also want to consider one of the best hobby 3D printers too. Combined, you should have quite the impressive crafting setup at home.
