This is a genuinely excellent price, especially in the UK where these speakers have never been discounted on Amazon UK before. Things are a little more complicated in the US, as the deal price takes the Ren back to the price Amazon was charging in most of October and very briefly in the summer.
These are genuinely wonderful speakers, even at their full price. Built-in wireless streaming, HDMI for TV sound, and you can just connect a turntable for instant vinyl satisfaction. At these discounted prices we'd buy them in a heartbeat.
Today's best Kanto Ren Black Friday deal in the US
We love this multi-talented powered speaker system, hence the full five stars in our Kanto Ren review. At full price they stomped the competition into dust; at this price you're getting an absolute bargain. Gorgeous sound, tons of features, and the option for funky colors.
Today's best Kanto Ren Black Friday deal in the UK
This is a superb speaker system with excellent connectivity and great sound, which is why we gave it the full five stars in our Kanto REN review. At any price, we said, "they’d beat any and every TV soundbar into a fine paste" – so the £599 RRP was superb value. With £200 off, it's astonishing.
In our in-depth Kanto Ren review, we gave these speakers the full five stars: to summarize them in just one word, they're "ace". As we explained, "With HDMI ARC, optical, USB-C, RCA and 3.5mm aux inputs, and with strong Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity besides, this is the does-everything bookshelf hi-fi system that most people spend a long time putting together piece by piece – and it sounds brilliant".
There's a lot of punch here – 100W RMS – and they deliver a rich, compelling sound with an incredible dynamic response that makes them an excellent option for TV, movies and gaming as well as for music. They're also really good monitors for music production.
A lot of speakers have clearly been beaten with the ugly stick, but not here: the Ren speakers are good-looking things and they come in some great color options including an absolutely gorgeous Matte Orange as well as more sober shades.
The Kanto Ren speakers are among some of the best stereo speakers we've tested, and at their usual price we thought they were superb value for money. At this discounted price, they're sensational.
