Samsung Gear S2 vs Gear S2 Classic vs Huawei Watch: Processing power, storage and RAM
It's a little difficult to compare processors given the fact that the Gear S2's and the Huawei Watch use processors from completely different companies. On paper, however, it seems as though the Huawei Watch is the winner in processing power, offering a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400, compared to the 1 GHz Exynos 3250 processor built by Samsung.
When it comes to storage and RAM, the devices all tie, offering 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage each.

The Samsung Gear S2 and S2 Classic are running Samsung's own operating system, Tizen, but it's not bad news for Android users: any device that running KitKat or above (Android 4.4) with 1.5GB of RAM and doesn't pack dodgy software should be able to run the watch - with talk of iOS in the future.
Huawei, however, has taken a more welcoming route, with the Huawei Watch shipping with Google's Android Wear, making it compatible with a range of Android devices, and even the iPhone. Any smartphone running Android 4.3+ or iOS 8.2+ can pair with an Android Wear device.

As far as sensors go, the Gear S2 and S2 Classic includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and an ambient light sensor. The Huawei Watch, by comparison, includes a 6-axis motion sensor, as well as a barometer. Both devices should be fine for fitness tracking, however the Samsung devices are clearly built with that a little more in mind.
The Samsung devices also include IP68 water- and dust-resistance, which is a little better than the IP67 rating on the Huawei Watch. Both devices should be fine in case of a few splashes, but the Samsung devices will be, well, more fine.

If you're deciding between these two watches but don't have a newer Samsung smartphone and aren't considering buying one, then really your only option is the Huawei Watch.
For the sportier people among us, the Samsung Gear S2 might be the better option. For those looking for class, however, it really is a toss-up between the Huawei Watch and the Samsung Gear S2 Classic. It's certainly important to keep watch size in mind, especially if you have a smaller wrist.
The Huawei Watch is set to go on sale on September 17 and will cost between $349 (€399, around £300) and $799 (€699, around £515) depending on the model. Samsung has not yet released details on pricing or availability for the Gear S2 and S2 Classic.
