Philips Hue products are the definitive smart lights, and right now you can grab a pack of three Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance A19 bulbs for just $69.99 (was ~~$109.99~~) at Amazon. That's the cheapest this bundle has ever been, and much less than buying the bulbs individually or in pairs this Black Friday.

The simplest way to use these bulbs is to connect them to your phone via Bluetooth, which will give you basic control over brightness and color, and allow you to toggle them on and off.

If you want to get the full Hue experience, though, including automations, timers, and scenes, you'll need a Philips Hue Bridge. This connects to your router and uses the Zigbee wireless protocol to connect all your Hue devices (including lights, switches, sensors, and cameras) in a wireless mesh network. You can use them individually, or group them by room or function in the Philips Hue app.

Using a Hue Bridge will also let you connect your lights to an existing smart home setup (using Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Homekit), so you can control them with a voice command to your smart speaker.

If you want a Bridge to go with your bulbs, the Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 is current down to $49.99 (was $59.99) at Amazon. That's not a record-low price, but it's still a reasonable discount and cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else this Black Friday,
