Philips Hue lights crash to record-low prices for Black Friday – save up to 54%
If you've been holding out for a deal, this is your chance
Philips Hue smart lights are the best around, but filling your home with them can get expensive. Waiting for the sales is always a prudent choice, and this year's Black Friday deals are better than ever. To save you time scouring the sales, I've put together this definitive list of all the best offers, so you can find all the biggest price cuts in one place.
If you're in the US and want to stock up on A19 bulbs, the best option is to pick up a pack of three Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance bulbs for $69.99 (was $109.99) at Amazon. This works out less per bulb than any other deal, and somehow costs less than buying a twin pack.
In the UK, I was excited to see a four-pack of the new Philips Hue Essentials White and Colour Ambiance bulbs for just £46.18 (was £59.99) at Amazon. I'm currently testing these bulbs myself, and my first impressions are very positive. They can't be dimmed as low as the original Hue bulbs, and don't offer such a wide range of colors, but both types offer a maximum brightness of 800 lumens, and they're a much more affordable way to dip your toe into the Hue ecosystem.

The new 8K Sync Box is notoriously expensive, but it's crashed to its lowest-ever price in the Black Friday sale at Amazon. Link it to your Philips Hue Bridge, and you'll be able to sync your lights with the action on your TV, whether that's TV shows, movies, or games.

These are the cheapest Philips Hue bulbs I've found this Black Friday, at just $11.08 each. You can't change their color using the Hue app, but you can turn them on and off, or adjust their brightness manually, on a schedule, or when triggered by an event.

These stylish little lamps project a gradient of color onto your walls, and can by synced with your TV using an HDMI Sync Box, or used alone (I currently use one as a wake-up lamp). I gave them a full five stars in my review earlier this year, and this is a record-low price for a set of two (one for either side of your TV).

I'm currently testing this lower-cost version of the Philips Hue colour-shifting light bulb, and my first impressions are very positive. They don't dim quite as low as classic Hue bulbs, or offer such a wide color gamut, but they're great for most purposes and even better value than usual for Black Friday.
