I'm happy with my MacBook at the moment, but if it were to die, then I'd replace it with the incredibly powerful and ultra-portable Dell XPS 13. And if that happens soon, then I'll be taking Dell up on this offer for the Dell XPS 13 for £999.99 (was £1,199).

That's a great price for the Snapdragon-powered version of one of our best Windows laptops. I had the privilege of getting hands-on with it a little while back and found it to be the perfect blend of power and portability, a true companion for on-the-go workers.

Rarely discounted by this amount, I recommend getting it now for just under £1,000 while stocks last.

This ultra-portable 13-inch beauty is one of Dell's most impressive laptops. It's lightweight - but not when it comes to performance. Thanks to a snappy Snapdragon X processor, it's got enough power to push the limits of what is possible in a laptop of this size that make it ideal for on-the-go working and productivity tasks.

In our Dell XPS 13 (2024) review, our reviewer gave the laptop a close-to-perfect 4.5 stars. They gave particular mention to the excellent performance, fantastic battery life, phenomenal display, and outstanding build quality. This is not only the best XPS 13 ever but also one of the best 13-inch laptops you could ever own.

The built-in Snapdragon X chip delivers fast processing as well as a long-lasting battery life that kept going for up to 20 hours during normal web surfing and just over 17 hours with video streaming. That's more than enough for a day out and about, or if you left your charger at the office.

Aside from performance, I love this laptop's portability. Weighing about two and a half pounds and just over half an inch thick, this laptop can be thrown in your bag, and you'll hardly know it's there.

The Dell XPS 13 is the best Windows 11 laptop in our best laptops list, and at this price, it's a fantastic bargain. Alternatively, you might want to consider one of the best MacBooks and Macs instead.
