It's that time of year again. Black Friday sales are here, and Apple isn't missing a chance to run some great discounts on MacBooks of all shapes and sizes.

And a lot of these deals are the biggest MacBook discounts I've seen, like the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air for just $749 (was $999) at Amazon. That's a 25% discount on one of Apple's best all-around laptops, with an M4 chip, for well under $1,000. This definitely doesn't happen every day.

<p>Newer M3 and M4 models are now available, but this is an unbelievable price for a 13-inch MacBook Air with an M2 chip. While it's an older model, it remains an incredibly powerful laptop for those who need a premium powerhouse for school, productivity, coding, or creative work. You also get double the RAM at 16GB (compared with, for example, a base Air M3), although the 256GB of storage feels a little paltry in 2025. Still, we rated it highly in our <a href="https://www.techradar.com/reviews/apple-macbook-air-m2-2022">MacBook Air M2 review, thanks to the stylish design, clear display, impressive performance, and long 18-hour battery life.

<p>The MacBook Air is Apple's thinnest and lightest laptop. With a powerful M4 chip, it can handle most tasks that you throw at it, while its excellent display, comfortable keyboard, and impressive battery life round it out. Right now it's on sale for $749, saving you $200.

This configuration comes with 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, which I think is the sweet spot for university students and remote workers (especially when paired with a cloud storage service). If you want some more storage space, you can double it to 512GB for an extra $200.

<p>The cheapest MacBook you can buy is the Apple MacBook Air M1, available exclusively at Walmart, for just $599. Don't miss this incredible deal if you're looking for a great bang-for-the-buck MacBook.

<p>Apple's latest 14-inch MacBook Pro is down to the lowest price I've ever seen it at, thanks to Black Friday. If you already have an excellent M4 MacBook, you don't have a major reason to upgrade to the M5. But, if you're still rocking an M2, or even an Intel-based MacBook, this is an excellent opportunity to get a much-needed performance boost at a very reasonable price. This configuration comes with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, but you can bring the price down to $1,441.64 (was $1,599) if you opt for 512GB of storage.

<p>If you want to hit the sweet spot between ultra-high performance and a reasonable price tag for a premium laptop, the M4 Pro is the way to go. It's considerably more affordable than the M4 Max, but still offers incredible computing power for all of your creative tasks. And you also get that beautiful 16-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, offering an eye-catching viewing experience for shows and story games in your downtime. Now for $310 off during Black Friday.

There's never been a better time to buy a MacBook - genuinely. Most of these deals offer the lowest prices we've ever seen on Apple's laptops, and surprisingly, we've even seen sales on the latest M5 models so soon after release.

And better yet, many of these models earned their way into our best MacBooks and Macs guide, like the 13-inch MacBook Air (M4) as our number one pick across all MacBooks, and the 14-inch MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) at the "best for content creators" spot.

If you're not sure which model is right for you, here's a quick and easy breakdown.

The MacBook Air is:

  • Lighter
  • More affordable
  • Fitted with a 60Hz display
  • Better for students and remote workers who aren't in creative fields

Whereas the MacBook Pro is:

  • Larger
  • Equipped with the latest M5 Apple Silicon chip
  • Fitted with a 120Hz display
  • Best for those with jobs/hobbies like video editing, graphic design, 3D rendering, game development

You can configure every MacBook on this list with more or less RAM and storage space and it'll still be on sale - so if you want a 15-inch MacBook Air (M4) with 24GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, you can find it on Amazon for $1,349 (was $1,599).

Be sure to snap up these unmissable Black Friday MacBook deals before they're gone!
