Serious about your drone footage? One of our favorite drones ever — the excellent DJI Mavic 4 Pro — is currently available for $2,499 (was $4,499) at Best Buy. That’s one of the lowest prices we’ve seen yet for this premium, three-camera powerhouse.

Awarded a full five stars in our Mavic 4 Pro review, this model justifies its high-end price tag with flight performance, speed, and excellent footage. Its 28mm main camera features a Micro Four Thirds sensor capable of shooting stunning 100MP or 25MP stills and up to 6K 60fps HDR video, with an impressive 16 stops of dynamic range. In short, this is a seriously impressive drone that we rate as one of the best camera drones on the market right now.

While the Mavic 4 Pro isn’t officially sold directly by DJI in the US, third-party retailers like Best Buy have begun stocking it as an import. It remains an expensive investment, but this particular listing is among the more affordable options available with a one-year parts and labor warranty. Take note, however, that you will still need to register this drone before you buy, since it's over 250g.

We claimed the DJI Mavic 4 Pro "sets a new benchmark for what’s possible" when we reviewed it last year, and it's still one of our favorite drones. Alongside impressive footage thanks to its excellent three-camera setup (including a M/43 main camera), the Mavic 4 Pro is also fantastic to fly, with an impressive flight time of 51 minutes. Other highlights include the 360-degree gimbal and omnidirectional LiDAR object sensing, making it an easy drone to pilot.

Is the DJI Mavic 4 Pro worth it?

Whether the DJI Mavic 4 Pro is worth buying largely depends on how serious you are about aerial photography and videography.

It’s a high-end, highly capable drone with excellent camera quality, obstacle avoidance, and strong flight performance. For creators, content makers, or travelers who want cinema-grade aerial footage without carrying heavy gear, it’s a compelling choice.

Compared with entry-level models like the DJI Mini series, the Mavic 4 Pro offers better image quality and performance, making it a solid investment if you’ll use it frequently and want professional-level results.

However, there are a few practical considerations before you pick it up. Firstly, as a drone that weighs more than 0.55 pounds (250 g), the Mavic 4 Pro must be registered with the FAA before you fly it — even recreationally. Additional certification may be required if you plan on using it commercially, too, so bear that in mind before you invest in such a powerful drone.
