Turtle Beach adds new line and buffs existing lines of gaming headsets for a powerful, diverse holiday lineup

Turtle Beach is ready to help gamers on every platform turn the volume up in their favorite games with a broad range of new headsets. And, when we say every platform, we mean it, because Turtle Beach is launching its first-ever PC-focused series of gaming headsets with three new models.

Whether you’re on PC, Xbox One, PS4, or Nintendo Switch, Turtle Beach’s diverse new lineup of volume-pumping, bass-thumping headsets has a pair to fit your needs. Some of these headsets come with upgrades to design thanks in part to collaboration Turtle Beach did with eSports pros on teams like the Houston Outlaws, OpTic Gaming, Splyce, and Astralis. And, with such a broad range of new headsets, you can find one to fit almost any budget as well.

The new Atlas series of PC gaming headsets

The Atlas series of gaming headsets is Turtle Beach’s first lineup specifically targeting the PC gaming space. All the more delightful is the fact that the headsets come in at excellent price points and support all of the modern gaming consoles as well.

The Elite Atlas takes cues from Turtle Beach’s Elite line and delivers them to the PC Gaming space. It features the company’s 50mm Nanoclear drivers for powerful and precise audio. There’s premium metal in the build, which is extra exciting to see in a headset that comes in below $100. A suspended headband and memory foam give it a comfortable fit while a detachable TruSpeak microphone offers flexible position and clear team communications.

Many of these features also carry down into the more affordable Atlas Three and Atlas One models. All of them feature metal reinforcement, memory foam ear cushions, and a ProSpecs Glasses Relief System that can make a little more room for glasses to comfortably fit under the earpads. They also all are built to support Windows Sonic surround sound on PC. All of them are design to be sturdy, comfortable, and offer a robust set of features for PC gamers looking to challenge all comers in eSports titles.

New entries in the Elite, Recon, and Stealth gaming headset series

Turtle Beach has followed up the premium Elite Pro headset with the new Elite Pro 2 + SuperAmp combo. A black model for PS4/PS4 Pro and a white model for Xbox One are both available, and both support PC. These headsets feature Turtle Beach’s loud and clear 50mm Nanoclear speaker drivers and detachable, noise-cancelling TruSpeak microphones. The headphones are built around a metal headband with a suspended cushion to spread pressure evenly across your head. The ear pads are cushioned with a cooling gel-infused memory foam and covered in an athletic fabric for coolness and comfort around the ears, and the outer edge is lined in leather for noise isolation.

The Elite SuperAmp turns the audio up, giving you an edge and letting you control EQ settings using a paired smartphone. Plus, with that Bluetooth connection, you can take calls and stream music while you’re gaming. Both version have surround sound options, with Xbox One version supporting Windows Sonic and the PS4 version offering DTS Headphone: X Surround Sound. And, like the Atlas series, these offering adjustments for a comfortable fit with glasses.

The Stealth series gets a new entry with the affordable Stealth 300, giving gamers amplified audio to get a leg up on the competition in Battle Royale games, where the ability to hear every little sound can make all the difference. And, with a battery life over 40 hours, you’ll be getting that sound advantage for a long time. The Stealth 300 is built with a metal-reinforced headband, 50mm drivers, a flip-to-mute microphone, memory foam earpads, and the ProSpecs Glasses Relief System. And, for the Xbox One model, the headset is optimized for Windows Sonic surround sound.

For gamers that want an affordable option, loud audio, a flip-to-mute microphone, and support for all of the consoles and mobile devices, the new entry in the Recon line is where it’s at. The Recon 200 comes at a budget-friendly $59, but offers plenty of the features found in its more expensive siblings. The Recon 200 uses 40mm drivers, and has battery-powered amplification for punchy audio and an always-on Bass Boost. The headband is reinforced with metal, the microphone offers variable monitoring so you don’t accidentally shout, and the headband and ear cushions feature synthetic leather, with the earcups padded using memory foam. Finally, these will support Windows Sonic surround on compatible devices as well.

All of these new headphones come just in time for the holiday season, and perfectly in time for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping season. So, if you’re picking up a new gaming console or upgrading your PC gaming rig and need a new gaming headset, no matter what you need, Turtle Beach’s latest offerings have a fit.
