Whether you’re after an affordable laptop or a heavily discounted premium machine, you’re in the right place. We’ve tracked down the best ways to save across a range of models. Deals change from week to week, but below you’ll usually find offers on Apple, Dell, Lenovo, HP, Acer, Microsoft, and Asus devices.
The laptop sales we highlight are chosen for more than price. We also weigh specifications and performance so you get the best value for money while staying within your budget. We also verify current prices and track past sales to make sure each offer is genuinely good.
I have also included some links straight to the top retailers laptop sales pages, in case you want to check out what's on offer for yourself.
Right now the HP eBay store has an extra 20% off using code HPMAR26, (and yes, we know it's April but the code still works!) so it's well worth taking a look at what's on offer.

The best deals on everyday laptops
The MacBook Air M4 is often on sale, so while this discount isn't unusual, it's about as good as it gets for an Apple product. Note that this is the M4 model, and the new M5 costs AU$1,797 from Amazon (though starts with a 512GB SSD) and AU$1,799 from Apple.
You can also grab the discounted M4 Air for AU$1,397 from JB Hi-Fi. Want to know more about the laptop? Take a look at our MacBook Air 13-inch M4 review for the full insight.
This compact machine has a decently powerful Snapdragon X Plus CPU paired with 16GB of RAM, and can happily take on any everyday tasks. It also has a 16:10 (1920 x 1200) OLED display with a high 400-nit brightness and 100% DCI-P3 colour reproduction, and a facial-recognition webcam.
This compact 2-in-1 is a basic machine but considering the price, the spec is excellent. It's normally sold at AU$1,398 by Dell, but recently they dropped the price to AU$1,098.90, and you can take an extra 5% off with code FUTURE5. The Ryzen AI 5 340 is decently powerful for a mid-range system and the 1920 x 1200 resolution touchscreen being able to fold back through 360 degrees is super handy.
Ignore the inflated RRP, but for the spec, this is a great price for a versatile 2-in-1 HP Envy x360, and as a comparison, the discounted price from HP is AU$1,499 (AU$1,424.05 with code FUTURE5). It features a grunty Ryzen 7 8840HS CPU along with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Plus, of course, it has a 1920 x 1200 16-inch touchscreen that conveniently folds through 360 degrees. Use the code HPMAR26 at checkout to get the full discount.
This large screen 2-in-1 from HP uses the latest Series 2 Core Ultra 7 258V CPU, for solid performance and long battery life. The 16-inch laptop has an excellent 2880 x 1800 OLED touchscreen display, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage — plus the latest features like Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4 and a facial recognition webcam. We have seen it for about 10% less, but with rising laptop prices, this is a decent price if you are after a big 2-in-1 machine.
The Dell 16 Plus launched at AU$2,600 in 2025, then dropped to AU$2,099 not long after, but you can now get it for AU$1,709 using the code FUTURE5 at checkout. While it has been cheaper, that's not bad for this powerful laptop – especially since it has a 2560x1600 display, plus extras like Thunderbolt 4 USB-C and Wi-Fi 7.
This versatile 2-in-1 features the now last gen Series 2 Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor backed up by 32GB of RAM and a large 1TB SSD. The 16-inch (2880 x 1800) 120Hz OLED touchscreen display folds back through 360 degrees and works with the Lenovo pen (included) for writing and drawing. You also get extras like an IR facial recognition webcam, dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and a decently large 70Wh battery. It's about 5% more than the lowest we have seen, but that's still a lot of laptop for the money!
This Snapdragon-powered laptop has an impressive spec for the price, with an X Elite X1E78100 CPU, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. It also has a very nice 2944 x 1840 OLED touchscreen display that outputs 100% of the sRGB gamut. We have seen this machine slightly cheaper, but it's still a solid deal at this price.
Gaming laptop deals
With all the price fluctuations around hardware, we aren't seeing many good gaming laptop deals right now. But stay tuned, as we will be adding any new discounts as soon as they are available.
The Victus 15 with RTX 4050 is often sold around the AU$1,500 mark (and the Ryzen 7 variant is AU$1,399 from HP), but the Intel i5 model is now discounted on the HP eBay store to AU$1,686. Then, using code HPMAR26, you get an extra 20% off, bringing the price down to AU$1,348.80. It was AU$999.20 during Black Friday, but this is the lowest I have seen for the last few months. While we hope it gets a little cheaper, overall it's a solid deal for a Core i5 RTX 4050 machine, as it's more than capable of decent frame rates on the 15-inch, 1080p, 144Hz screen.
The HP Victus 15 with an RTX 5060 recently got a discount from the rather aspirational AU$2,799 list price down to AU$1,699. Use the code FUTURE5 for an extra 5% off and it's actually cheaper than we saw it during Black Friday. While not the most powerful, it's still pretty competitive with other RTX 5060 gaming laptop deals right now – especially since the Victus has 24GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and a 1080p, 144Hz display. Note that it is running an 80W TGP (vs 100W, making it 10-15% slower), but that’s normal at this price.
