Now is a great time to be on the hunt for your next laptop. Not only has Best Buy just listed a number of excellent deals on several excellent HP laptops as part of its latest sale, but the retailer has also just listed the brand-new HP Omnibook 5 for sale.
The new HP Omnibook 5 features a new 2026 Intel Core 5 Series 3 chipset with improved performance and battery life, plus a lighter and thinner design. As with the previous generation of Omnibook, it also features a stunning 2K OLED display - which is still a rare thing to see on such an affordable laptop.
Just below, you can check out the HP Omnibook 5, which starts at $799 for an Intel Core 5 model with a 256GB SSD. There's also the 512GB model for just $849, which is the one I'd personally recommend since it's such a cheap upgrade to double the storage.
Best Buy also has discounts on slightly older Omnibook models, super cheap options, and even some affordable gaming laptops with discounts of up to $600. These are great options if you're looking for something with a bit more power - say, for working from home or high-end professional use.
We've yet to review the latest Omnibook 5 at TechRadar, but we did review the excellent new Omnibook 7 earlier this year. In short, we found it to be an impressive machine, with excellent build quality, a high-end display, and plenty of ports. Our only complaint? It's a little pricey, which makes the more affordable Omnibook 5 a great alternative.
