I was patiently waiting for Amazon to kick off its Prime Big Deal Days sale next week, but it seems the retailer is bored of hanging around until then and has launched dozens of early deals in the UK. What's even more of a surprise is that I'm seeing some Black Friday-level deals up for grabs on TVs, Kindles, tablets, and smart home tech – so I've gathered up 28 of the best offers I'd buy right now.

Shop all the best early Prime Day deals

As is always the case with a Prime Day sale, the biggest discounts and lowest prices are available on lots of Amazon devices. That means you can get Fire TV Sticks, Ring Doorbells, and Blink cameras from as little as £14.49. Many of these are even cheaper than they were during the previous Prime Day in July.

It's also a good time to shop for a new e-reader. The standard Kindle and mid-range Kindle Paperwhite may not be reduced just yet, but you can get the Kindle Colorsoft for £169.99 (was £239.99) – that's a record-low price for Amazon's latest and vibrant ereader.

I've spotted several super-cheap basket fillers that could be a little treat with payday just behind us. For example, there's the Anker PowerCore 10K Power Bank for £12.98 (was £17.99), the Philips One Blade for £34.99 (was £54.99), and an Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet for £49.99 (was £99.99).

I fully expect there will be more deals to come as we get closer to the Prime Big Deal Days sale on Oct 7 - 8, so do check in regularly as I update this guide with all of the best offers I come across.

28 best early Amazon Prime Day deals

Anker PowerCore 10K
Anker PowerCore 10K: was £17.99 now £12.98 at Amazon

This is a handy and affordable power bank from the popular and well-rated Anker brand. It sports a sleek and slim design that makes it easy to carry around, while it can still recharge many mobiles up to two times over. There's only a single port to charge one device at a time but that's not a huge issue if you just want a cheap power bank for your phone.

Amazon Echo Pop
Amazon Echo Pop: was £44.99 now £22.99 at Amazon

Amazon's early Prime Day deals include the Echo Pop for the low price of £22.99. This is the cheapest Echo device you can buy right now and one that we found was fun, if somewhat basic, in our Echo Pop review. For the money, however, you get a compact smart speaker with Alexa built in, so you can play music, ask questions, and check the weather completely hands-free. It has fallen to £17.99 in the past for Prime members, but I'd still say it's a decent buy at a little over £20.

Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen)
Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen): was £54.99 now £29.99 at Amazon

Amazon's best-selling Echo Dot is down to under £30 ahead of Prime Day – an OK offer, but far from the previous record-low of £21.99. Nevertheless, the Echo Dot offers an improved audio experience, plus a new temperature sensor and all the handy features from Alexa, like playing music, answering questions, and checking the weather completely hands-free. As far as a cheap and cheerful smart speaker goes, it's one of the better options out there.

Amazon Echo Spot

Amazon brought back a brand-new version of its Echo Spot smart clock recently, and it's slashed £35 off the price for Prime Day. That's a new record-low price. As well as a time display and wake-up alerts, this compact bit of kit can play music, check the weather and control other smart devices throughout your home.

Amazon Kindle Colorsoft
Amazon Kindle Colorsoft: was £239.99 now £169.99 at Amazon

The Kindle Colorsoft is down to a new low price as part of Amazon Prime Day. As Amazon's first and only colored Kindle, it's a must-have if you love reading travel guides, graphic novels, and other genres with a lot of images and photographs – or just want to view your entire ebook library in its full colour glory. The ereader is also USB-C and wireless charging compatible, lasts up to eight weeks on a full battery, and has enough storage for thousands of books.

Amazon Kindle Scribe
Amazon Kindle Scribe: was £379.99 now £269.99 at Amazon

This updated version of the Kindle Scribe doesn't get discounted often, so this early Prime Day deal is worth snapping up while you can. The Scribe combines some of the best features of the Kindle Paperwhite, such as the glare-free and auto-adjusting display, along with the option to take notes, comment on documents, and doodle using the included stylus pen. Our Kindle Scribe review was down on some missing features that have been added in recent updates, so this is now much better value for money as a multi-functional device.

Anker Power Bank 325
Anker Power Bank 325: was £29.99 now £24.89 at Amazon

If you need more power capacity than the cheaper option above, this Anker Power Bank 325 is also a great buy in the early Prime Day sale. It doubles the capacity to 20,000mAh, which is enough to charge an iPhone 15 up to four times and a Samsung Galaxy S25 up to three times. Plus, there multiple ports so you can use it with up to two devices at the same time.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K: was £59.99 now £25.99 at Amazon

As the name suggests, the Fire TV Stick 4K streams shows and movies on your TV in ultra-high 4K resolution, with access to all the major apps and voice control support through Alexa. It's a good offer for a solid streaming stick that could be an upgrade to some slower and clunkier in-built TV services and apps. Be aware, though, that the previous generation version has been as low as £22.99 before – but that was over three years ago. Chances of seeing that price again are slim – and this is actually a record-low price for the newest model.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max: was £69.99 now £39.99 at Amazon

Another streaming stick, another return to the lowest-ever price. The newest version of Amazon's premium streaming device, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, streams the same content in the same quality as the standard 4K version, but the extra power inside means you get faster performance when navigating apps and searching for shows. Plus, it uses WiFi 6E technology to give you a more stable and consistent streaming experience over the majority of built-in TV services and apps.

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale includes this 40-inch TV on sale for a record-low price of £174.99. While the Amazon 2-Series TV is just a basic HD display, you get smart capabilities with the Fire TV experience and Amazon Alexa on board for hands-free control at a bargain price. It's far from the best TV in the world, but if you need something small and basic for the kitchen or a kid's room, then this is fine for the job.

All major streaming apps are ready to go, too, plus there's voice control support through Alexa. It's an all-around solid TV for the price that I'd buy if I needed an affordable and capable display.

This set boasts premium features, including a QLED display for better brightness and contrast, HDR and Dolby Vision for brighter and more vivid colours, local array dimming for richer blacks and HDMI 2.1 support to deliver a top-quality picture for all-around viewing and fast response times for gaming. Eufy G50 Robot Vacuum
Eufy G50 Robot Vacuum: was £199.99 now £109.99 at Amazon

The Eufy G50 is very budget-friendly even at full price, but now it's even more so thanks to this early Prime Day deal, which takes £90 off. A maximum suction of 4,000Pa is extremely good for the price, and the onboard bin is surprisingly generously sized at 600ml. For this price, expect basic navigation and a design suited to general whole-home cleans rather than anything more specific. Although we haven't reviewed this specific model yet, we generally rate Eufy highly as a brand, and the value for money is impressive.

Amazon Echo Show 5
Amazon Echo Show 5: was £89.99 now £49.99 at Amazon

If you're looking for a deal on a smart home display, then the cheapest offer at Amazon is the latest generation Echo Show 5 on sale for £49.99. That's only £5 more than the record low, so it's a strong deal for a straightforward smart home display that's packed with features and includes the Amazon Alexa assistant for easy voice controls to get alerts, weather updates, play music, watch videos, and more.

Ring Battery Video Doorbell
Ring Battery Video Doorbell: was £99.99 now £39.99 at Amazon

The latest wireless Ring Doorbell has been discounted to a new record-low price ahead of next week's Prime Day. We've tested more advanced versions and have been impressed with the video quality and night vision colour, but it's a shame that some of this device's value is usable exclusively with a Ring Protect subscription. However, if you're fine with paying for a subscription or already using a Ring-based home security system, it'll be worth the cost.

Oral-B iO3 Electric Toothbrush
Oral-B iO3 Electric Toothbrush: was £160 now £64.99 at Amazon

The iO range is usually a more expensive option in Oral-B's range of electric toothbrushes, but this is a decent deal on the entry-level option that's also bundled with a few handy extras. It doesn't boast many high-end features but it has the basic ones you really need to brush your teeth effectively and efficiently, including a two-minute timer and a visible pressure sensor. Plus, you get a refill holder, charger pouch and travel case included for free.

Tefal Easy Fry Air Fryer
Tefal Easy Fry Air Fryer: was £179.99 now £99.99 at Amazon

One of the best budget air fryer deals available at Amazon right now is this heavily reduced Tefal Easy Fry. It's a decent-sized 8.3L model that's almost at the same price as smaller 5-litre options I've seen at other retailers. We haven't personally reviewed this model at TechRadar, but it's from a trusted brand and is back down to the lowest price I've seen all year. In fact, it's the same offer that I saw during last year's Black Friday.

Amazon Fire Max 11
Amazon Fire Max 11: was £249.99 now £129.99 at Amazon

The Fire Max 11 is a bold play by Amazon to muscle in on the iPad's more premium turf, with a 2.2GHz octa-core chip (paired to 4GB RAM), which the company claims makes it almost 50% faster than its next-fastest tablet. A sharp 11-inch 1200 x 2000 display, Dolby Atmos audio and up to 14 hours of battery life round out a promising spec sheet on this larger and decent everyday tablet. Today's offer is fine, but it has been £15 cheaper in the past.
