With the Hisense H8G, it doesn’t take a lot of fiddling around in settings menus to get yourself set up for gaming. Just selecting Game Mode will deliver the low-latency performance you need to get the drop on your opponents in competitive online games or stay alive in the most challenging levels.

Hisense helps improve the immersion while you’re gaming with HDR and advanced audio as well. The TV can wrap you up in sound with a pair of 10-watt speakers and Dolby Atmos audio, which provides extra detail on where each sound in your games is coming from. HDR on the Hisense H8G also comes in several flavors: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision, ensuring you get support for high dynamic contrast in a ton of games and videos.

The HDR formats a TV supports are only half the picture, though. The quality of the display itself is the other half, and Hisense has that sorted. The 65-inch H8G uses a Quantum Dot display that can deliver a whopping 1.07 billion shades of color for vibrant and detailed visuals. It also handles HDR with 90 local dimming zones for deep shadows in the darkest dungeons of your games and bright highlights in all the explosions and flames, with peak brightness hitting as high as 700 nits.

The display runs 4K with a 60Hz refresh rate, letting it handle the performance target many games on the latest consoles are likely to aim for. But, Hisense also uses a 240 Motion Rate, which makes content appear extra smooth, which benefits game and sports content alike.

When you’re through gaming for the day, the Hisense H8G makes it easy to switch over to your favorite streaming content on its smart OS, thanks to Android TV built right in. You’ll have access to a load of apps from Netflix and Amazon Prime to YouTube, Tubi, and more. You can even install Android games. And, with Google Assistant built-in and voice input on the remote control, navigating is a cinch.

So, for a TV that’s ready for you to get your game on or to watch the big game, check out the Hisense H8G.
