There are few things l enjoy more in the summer than a really good iced coffee. As we move into warm weather season, I've made an important life decision: this year, I will invest in a coffee maker that'll let me brew my own at home. Not all of today's best coffee machines can create iced coffees, but there are a handful of really excellent models that excel in this area. I've rounded up my top contenders below — hit the View Details button to find out more about each one, and for a link to the full TechRadar review.

These coffee makers achieve their cold brews in slightly different ways, but what none of them do is to cook you up a hot espresso, ask you to pour it over a mug of ice and call it an 'iced coffee function'. (Come on guys, that's cheating.)

Another five-star buy— and a better pick if you don't want to hang around for a full day for your caffeine hit — is the De'Longhi Dedica Duo. This model will brew you a cool coffee in a matter of minutes, using room-temperature water directly from its tank. Cat found the flavor "full and rounded", and commented, "Whether you drink it straight, add milk and ice, or use it in blended drinks and cocktails, it’s very tasty."
