New Dell XPS 14 gets its first significant price cut — barely a few months after launch
This stunning new laptop starts at $1,359 today
The new 2026 Dell XPS 14 is barely a month old, but we've already got a fantastic price cut at the official Dell Store. Right now, you can get the entry-level Ultra 5 configuration for just $1,349 - an impressive $150 discount overall.
This latest iteration of the well-known Ultrabook series originally went on sale in January, so this is the first significant discount of note. It's perhaps not the biggest price cut ever, but it's still worth considering if you've been eying up this stunning machine.
The price is the main criticism of the 2026 model overall, because otherwise it's a striking return to form for the brand. Quite a few of the more divisive features from the previous iterations (control bar, borderless touchpad) have been addressed, and they've been thoroughly modernized with the latest Intel chipsets and a stunning new design. Right now, they're definitely positioned as one of the best higher-end Windows machines you can buy.

The latest Dell XPS 14 has just received its first-ever price cut at the official Dell Store today. Melding a gorgeous new lightweight design, efficient Intel chipsets, and 1-120Hz adaptive displays, the latest XPS 14 is easily one of the best high-end Windows laptops you can buy right now. With $150 off, it's a little easier on the pocket today thanks to this deal, too.
A premium power-house for 2026
We haven't had the chance to fully test out the latest Dell XPS 14 here at TechRadar, but we were impressed when we checked them out in-person. Our sister-site, Tom's Hardware, has a very in-depth review that I'd recommend reading for more details.
In a nutshell, the XPS 14 is a real return to form from the brand's more divisive iterations in the past few years. The machines have been redesigned to be a little more modern, minimalist, and overall lighter. Of particular note is the return of physical function keys, replacing the widely criticized capacitive touch bar. There’s also a redesigned haptic touchpad with subtle tactile edges, a much sharper 8MP / 4K webcam.
Under the hood, the latest XPS 14 is solely powered by the latest iteration of Intel Core Ultra 300 series processors - no options for AMD this year. The key selling point for these chipsets are outstanding battery life, which can reach up to 20 hours on the non-OLED display model (such as the one we've linked on this page).
