Acer's spring sale offers big clearance deals on some of our favourite laptops

The official Acer Store is hosting a massive spring sale this week, with excellent clearance deals up for grabs across a wide range of the brand's excellent laptops.

As TechRadar's deals editor, I've rounded up the best laptop deals below, including models that we've personally tested (and loved) here on site.

My choices start at just £219 for a solid Acer Chromebook 314, but today's spring sale also has some superb higher-end options. This Aspire 5 for £599 (was £749) and the eco-friendly Aspire Vero for £699 (was £899) are solid choices if you need a decent Windows machine for intensive tasks or working from home.

Finally, I'd also highly recommend this Swift Go for £899 (was £1,199) thanks to its impressive Ultra 9 chipset and stunning OLED display.

In addition to these discounts outlined above, Acer also has a superb bonus bundle code that you can use for even more savings. Don't forget to use the code BONUS at checkout to get an extra 3% off when you spend over £500, 4% with over £1,000, and 5% over £1,500.

If you just need a cheap machine for browsing or school work, then a Chromebook is a great option. Right now, Acer has a great price cut on this 314 model, which features an extremely portable 14-inch form factor and 10-hour battery life. Specs-wise, this machine isn't super high-end, but the lightweight nature of ChromeOS means you don't need much to cover all the basics like web browsing, emails, and Word documents. This Aspire 5 is a perfect choice if you need a reliable machine for working from home. With a Core i7 chipset and 16GB of RAM, this machine won't have too many issues zipping through intensive applications or multitasking. The Vero series laptops from Acer prioritise eco-friendly recycled materials in their construction, so they're a fantastic option if you're looking to do your part. Luckily, the particular configuration also features a powerful 13th-generation Intel Core i7 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and an expansive 1TB SSD, so it won't have any issues with most applications. As a solid workhorse machine that will last a few years, this Vero is a fantastic option that we rated highly in our Acer Aspire Vero 15 review.

Finally, if you're on the hunt for a premium machine that's a cut above the usual fare, consider this stunning Swift Go. At 14 inches, this one is extremely portable but still manages to pack in a powerful Ultra 9 chipset and a stunning 2.8k OLED display. As a premium machine, this one is a little pricier, but a £200 saving makes it much easier on the pocket today at Acer.
