Processor: Intel Core 5
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 256GB

Need a super cheap laptop that's lightweight but can still get the job done? This Asus Vivobook 14 is a good choice at Best Buy's Presidents' Day sale today. It's not super powerful, but a Core 5 chipset should provide enough performance for everyday tasks like browsing, or web-based applications. This machine does only have a 256GB drive, however, so storage isn't its strong point.

This Dell 15 Laptop is the definition of a 'workhorse' machine. It's nothing fancy, but under the hood, you do get a powerful Ryzen 7 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD - which are all impressive at this price point. If you don't care too much about a high-end display, or a fancy design, then this Dell is a great mid-range choice with plenty of bang for the buck.

Processor: Intel Ultra 7

The Dell 14 Plus is one of our favorite Windows 11 laptops from the past few years, and a great choice if you just want a solid machine with plenty of power. It does lack the pizazz of the XPS line, but the 14 Plus is still a nicely built laptop with an attractive design, plenty of ports, and a powerful Intel Ultra 7 chipset in this case.

If you'd prefer more screen real estate, check out this deal on the Dell 16 Plus. This is another fantastic machine for general purpose use - and the exact configuration is just $50 pricier than the 14-inch model. If you're not planning on travelling with your laptop regularly, then it could be a better option to go with the bigger screen here, especially because you're still getting that powerful Ultra 7 chipset and a spacious 1TB storage drive.

The Lenovo Yoga 7i is a great choice if you're looking for a higher-end Windows laptop. Not only do you get a stunning 2k OLED display, but the combination of an Ultra 7 chipset and 16GB of RAM means it's great for even relatively demanding applications. I could see this being a great choice for both professional users and those with a bit of cash to spend who just want a laptop with a really nice display.

The Apple MacBook Air M4 is always a good choice - it's the laptop that we recommend to most people right now, in fact. Annoyingly, it has been $50 cheaper at Amazon before over Black Friday, but today's discount is still pretty damn good - good enough that we'd still highlight this as one of the better value mid to high-range laptop deals on the market currently.

With $500 off, you're getting a great deal considering you not only get super powerful specs here, but a stunning 3K OLED display and premium lightweight design. Getting an RTX 5070 gaming laptop for just $1,200 is still pretty rare these days so this deal on the Acer Nitro V at Best Buy is definitely worth checking out. While it's not the cheapest machine on the market by any stretch, you should be able to get great performance right out the box with this Acer thanks to not only the RTX 5070 graphics card, but also a powerful Ultra processor, too.

This Lenovo Legion 5i isn't the cheapest gaming laptop on the market right now, but it is absolutely fantastic value. Not only do you get a respectable RTX 5070 graphics card, but this Legion 5i also has the distinct advantage of a Core i7 chipset and an OLED display. That's extremely impressive for $1,399 and gives this premium gaming laptop a lot of appeal if you want something that not only runs well, but looks great.

Graphics card: RTX 5070 Ti

Today's best deal at the HP Store, in my opinion, is this massive $700 price cut on the HP Omen Max 16. This is one of the cheapest machines I've seen so far with the RTX 5070 Ti graphics card so you're getting a ton of bang for the buck here. The downside? The rather small 512GB SSD, which feels rather miserly for a machine of this calibre! Performance wise, however, this one is great.
