It's nearly the big day, guys! Black Friday is happening… this Friday!

But don't worry, the deal I'm talking about is already live right now – so if you emphatically need the most popular earbuds in the world (and among the very newest) I've got the best AirPods Pro 3 deal for you, right here.

If it doesn't have to be Apple's newest buds, you can also get the older-generation AirPods Pro 2 for just $139 (was $249) at Walmart – a pretty staggering discount. It's a deal so good that one of the team is already contemplating getting rid of their older AirPods Pro 2 with the Lightning charger, just to charge their earbuds with USB-C and see the back of that aging Lightning charger for good.

Not after Apple's newest AirPods – or in fact any AirPods at all? That's OK, TechRadar's Black Friday deals hub can guide you towards whatever piece of tech your heart desires, or there's my roundup of the best Sennheiser headphones and earbuds deals, my collection of the best Bose Black Friday headphones deals, my guide to the only 5 Black Friday headphones and earbuds deals you need this Black Friday, or our dedicated Black Friday headphones deals live blog, if any of these things is what you're looking for.

No, it's not a massive discount, but it's the first real one we've had, and it's a decent one, taking 12% off the usual price of Apple's newest and most advanced ANC earbuds. The main difference between the Pro 3 and Pro 2 is the addition of heart rate sensing and Live Translation using Apple Intelligence, and the ANC is vastly improved, as I covered at length in my AirPods Pro 3 review – which is no small statement given that the ANC in the AirPods Pro 2 was already excellent.

There is also a secondary deal, this time at Best Buy. Essentially, you can find impressive savings at Best Buy when you trade in an eligible device – and that's especially helpful when it comes to bagging yourself some ice-white, Pro-suffixed Apple earbuds.

Shop more deals at Best Buy

The deal? It depends on what you'll be trading in, but you could get AirPods Pro 3 for as little as $119.99 (originally $249.99) at Best Buy when you trade in your old headphones from brands such as Apple, Beats, Sony or Bose. That means you could be saving up to $130, an incredible deal for newly released Apple buds.

To find out how much you could save, you'll click on 'Check your trade-in value' on the AirPods Pro 3 product page. Then, answer questions about your trade-in device and based on your answers, Best Buy will present you with the value.

The retailer will also email you shipping instructions for your trade-in device, and once it's received, Best Buy will refund the amount to your original payment method.

Apple AirPods Pro 3: save up to $130 with trade-in at Best Buy
The AirPods Pro 3 are officially available to order, and you can get them for as little as $119.99 when you trade in an eligible device at Best Buy. Upgrades to the AirPods Pro 3 include improved Active Noise Cancellation and audio, a new comfortable in-ear design, and new features such as live translation and the ability to track heart rate, workouts, and calories burned.

I have tested both the AirPods Pro 3 and the older AirPods Pro 2. As I said in my glowing 4.5-star review of the AirPods Pro 3, (and as you can read about in our extensive AirPods Pro 3 vs AirPods Pro 2 feature), the AirPods Pro 3 are just better all round: think true wall-of-silence ANC, better fit, and because of this, better audio quality.

iPhone owners who value great, shut-out-the-world noise cancellation need look no further than this deal, if their budget allows – and given the new discount, that's more likely than ever.

To hammer the point home: for ANC they're truly remarkable. And if you're prepared to consult Apple's support pages while setting them up (Live Translation is excellent, you just have to jump through a few hoops and grant a few permissions – oh, and you'll need an iPhone 15 Pro Max or later, to gain the necessary Apple Intelligence support), there's so much to enjoy.

If pushed, my only gripes would be that a little extra stamina would've been welcome. But what there is here you'll definitely enjoy, especially at this price and especially with heart-rate monitoring and Apple's excellent personalized and head-tracked spatial audio…

Other AirPods deals to consider

Not bothered about the new (and in my opinion, much better) AirPods Pro 3? Like the fit of the old set and don't care much for heart-rate monitoring or improved ANC?

If that's the case, my pick of the bunch for you would be the AirPods Pro 2, which can be yours right now for just $139 (was $249) at Walmart – an incredible discount on earbuds that certainly don't feel old when you're unboxing them.

Still not in your price range? Check out the deals listed below on Apple's AirPods 4 with ANC and the entry-level AirPods 4, which are now down to their lowest sub-$80 price-point.

This is the lowest price we've ever seen for the AirPods Pro 2, and it's an astounding value for earbuds this good. They sound superb, they have high-tier noise cancellation, they have an unlosable case, and they have the newer Live Translation and hearing aid features that also feature on AirPods Pro 3 – these are only missing the heart-rate sensors of the new model in terms of major features.

Amazon is running the same AirPods 4 with ANC deal as Walmart. Spooky. Everything I've said above about these AirPods applies here: they're the best earbuds for iPhone users who want Apple's excellent device integration and ANC without having to shove anything into your ear canals.

Apple's most affordable AirPods are currently at their lowest ever price on Walmart, and that makes them an even better buy. At under $80, these are great value: they have personalized spatial audio, better-than-promised battery life (based on our testing), and fantastic integration with Apple's other devices.

This deal applies to most but not all color options for Apple's excellent over-ears: the Midnight ones are $50 more expensive than all the other colors. But that's no biggie because the softer shades look much better to my eyes – and the lower price makes these over-ears a much smarter buy. Here's the thing – they have been cheaper than this in the past. I'm not sure they'll get any cheaper this Black Friday, (because you do now get USB-C Lossless support, and it's very good indeed) but still, all the other discounts are a lot more impressive.

The only earbuds whose ANC can challenge the AirPods Pro 3? You're looking at 'em. On the face of it, this saving isn't the most headline-worthy sale you'll see on Black Friday. But this is Bose – and it's also the first ever saving I've seen on this set of 5-star, 2025-release noise-cancelling earbuds. They basically walk all over anything else on the market for noise cancellation (except maybe Apple's AirPods Pro 3 – but if you don't own an iPhone I don't recommend those, however good the deal). They're currently dipping between $216 and $199, but only in certain colorways. A new lowest-seen fee on a truly excellent set of new earbuds from Bose? Yes please.

This might be the earbuds bargain of Black Friday. It's the lowest we've ever seen for these earbuds, and it's a good $20 cheaper than the previous lowest price. They are outrageously good for this price – in our Nothing Ear (a) review, we felt they were way better than their original price, and now they're 50% off! Great sound quality, strong active noise cancellation, a comfortable fit, good smart features… what a deal.

Released in January 2025, these little beauties are still the only earbuds to offer multipoint to three devices simultaneously, plus excellent 'sidetone' tech for hearing your own voice in calls. They also deliver some of the most neutral and detailed audio possible, in a small, premium-feel design – our Technics EAH-AZ100 review raves about all the details. They've never dropped this low in price until now. Highly recommended.

This is the lowest price we've ever seen for these headphones – they've hit this price before, but never lower. The deal is on the black color, plus the much cooler blue and red options. For this price, these are excellent value headphones – their noise cancellation still hasn't been meaningfully beaten, even by the mighty Sony WH-1000XM6, but these are now $100 cheaper than those headphones. Here's our full Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones review for more on why we like them so much, even now.
