Tannoy Revolution Signature DC6 review

Yet again, Tannoy’s dual-concentric driver confirms its timeless benefits

TechRadar Verdict

An attractively styled standmount that works very well with close-to-wall reinforcement. Has a lively, even bass underpinning a smooth and coherent if slightly over-projected upper mid and presence. Lacks warmth, but imaging is stable

Pros

  • +

Neat and attractively shaped enclosure gives impressive freedom from boxiness even when close-to-the-wall

  • +

Lively, even bass and fine coherence and delicacy through the voice band

Cons

  • -

Lacks some energy and warmth through the upper bass and lower midband, so overall balance is a little cool
