A multi-format universal disc player at an unbelievable price might be all some audiophiles need for Hi-Fi thrills

A Profile 1.1 throwback that offers great picture prowess

This 2.1 Blu-ray spinner is tuned by audio guru Mark Levinson

Denon's flagship player will spin almost every disc format you can think of

The latest Blu-ray player from Denon has a bit of a mean and moody streak

Other decks may offer an array of bells, whistles, toots and whizzbangs, but this Sony refines the basics

Purists' player that puts video quality before gimmicks

Sharp updates its lineup with its first BD-Live capable player

Pioneer ups the ante with its latest Blu-ray spinner

Oppo offers a feature-packed connoisseur's Blu-ray deck for the right money.

Superb Blu-ray recorder with Freesat tuners and 250GB HDD

Philips' Blu-ray player is a good value deck that excels with HD movies

We get vertical with Samsung's wall-hugging Blu-ray deck - the brand's slimmest and fastest yet

I think I speak for all hardcore home cinema fans in saying that this is the dedicated Blu-ray player the world has been waiting for. Created to deliver the highest possible quality video and audio standards, as well as finally unlocking the forbidden pleasures of BD Live (whatever the heck they might be) via an Ethernet port and local storage, Panasonic's DMP-BD50 appears to offer it all.

The Loewe name is synonymous with adventurous design, so it comes as no surprise that its debut Blu-ray player, the Blutech Vision, focuses heavily on the aesthetic. Available in anthracite or chrome silver, the BluTech Vision is minimalist in design and sports a front panel devoid of any features other than a central porthole.
