Google beats all expectations yet again

Google's revenue increased by 67 per cent in the last quarter of 2006

Online search giant Google has again beaten all expectations. Its revenue for the last quarter of 2006 rose to $3.21bn, an increase of 67 per cent compared to the same period the year before.

Less commissions and payments to its advertising partners, Google's profit was $2.23bn, which is considerably more than the $2.195bn Wall Street analysts had predicted.
