Looking for a new TV to watch the World Cup? Best Buy's 4th of July sale is live, featuring fantastic options from all the best-known brands. There are plenty of models on sale, but my top value pick is the 65-inch TCL QM6K for just $679 (was $1,299).

This particular model is one of the cheapest Mini-LED displays on the market, and for just under $700, it's an absolute steal if you're prioritizing image quality. It's a few hundred bucks more than the super-cheap models, but it's far superior in that regard.

Our QM6K review praised this model, saying it 'threads the needle between affordable and premium'. That's a fair appraisal of the QM6K, and we also ranked it as the 'best cheap big screen' in our best TVs buyer's guide. Considering you get Dolby Vision IQ support, vibrant color, and an easy-to-use UI, it's a good choice for not just sports, but movies and shows too.

It won't rival the very best premium TVs, but it delivers excellent value for the money. Its biggest compromises are fairly average brightness and underwhelming built-in speakers, so I'd recommend pairing it with a decent soundbar to really make the most of it.

A truly great, budget mini-LED TV, the TCL QM6K delivers vibrant picture quality along with solid gaming features for a price that won't break the bank. This deal knocks a decent $300 off the 65-inch model, making it a truly appealing option for those who want a premium display without breaking the bank.

The TCL QM6K is a great budget alternative to the more well-known brands like Samsung or LG as it's a surprisingly well-featured set for the money. I've already mentioned Dolby Vision IQ, but it also supports IMAX content, hands-free voice control, and 144Hz 4K refresh rates.

In terms of brightness, our benchmarks cite HDR peak brightness at 559.8 nits (Filmmaker mode) and 695.5 nits (Standard mode). Both of those are quite average for a TV of this calibre, so it's best to position the TV accordingly if you have a lot of sunlight in the room. Outside of direct sunlight, though, the QM6K has colors that really pop - and shadows are also well detailed.
