Summer Game Fest
Summer Game Fest has grown from a humble E3 alternative to one of the most important events in any gamer's calendar. Helmed by commentator Geoff Keighley, the multi-day gaming extravaganza kicks off with a flashy live show that's become known for its incredible reveals and announcements.
Some of the biggest publishers like Activision, Capcom, and Square Enix choose to show off their games in the roughly two hour presentation, which is streamed live for a massive audience of viewers around the world.
This is accompanied by a wealth of other major showcases, usually including an Xbox Games Showcase and PlayStation State of Play in addition to more community-focused ones like indie showcase Day of the Devs and the PC Gaming Show.
All course, we diligently cover all the biggest news — which you can browse right here.
