As mentioned, the Instant Vortex air fryer is a great appliance that covers all the basic features you need in an air fryer. I've been using this model for the best part of the year, and it's saved me bags of time in the kitchen without taking up masses of space.

Though it only has one drawer and is best for cooking for two people, don't be fooled by its small footprint. When I really try, I can fit around 5-6 boned chicken thighs inside, which will only take about 20 minutes to cook – or a little longer if you like crispy skin
