T-Mobile just brought back its best iPhone 17 deal ever — you don't even need to trade-in to get the device included with a new line now

It's been a while since T-Mobile has had a truly noteworthy deal on the iPhone 17, but right now's a fantastic time to consider the latest Apple flagship at the carrier.

Currently, no trade-ins are needed at all to get the device included with an eligible unlimited plan at T-Mobile. That's a match for the best promotion I've seen on this particular device at the carrier.

The main banner for this deal advertises it as a fantastic option for switchers, but according to the T&Cs, existing customers are also eligible if you're adding a line on the Experience Beyond, Experience More, Better Value, or equivalent legacy plan. It looks like the entry-level Essentials plan is excluded, but pretty much everything else is fair game.

While you'll still need said unlimited plan to be eligible for an included device, the main selling point here is the fact that you don't need to trade in an older phone. That definitely makes this particular iPhone 17 deal a lot more approachable to switchers and existing customers alike.

One of T-Mobile's best iPhone 17 deals ever is back again this week at the carrier, with a surprise post-Memorial Day listing. Right now, you don't even need to trade in an old device to get this device included with a new line on an Experience Beyond plan or equivalent. While advertised as a great deal for switchers, existing customers are also eligible here, granted their plan is covered in the terms.

Impressively, that same deal is also available on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra this week at T-Mobile. While you can't quite score this hefty device on the house, you can still knock a decent $1,100 off this device's cost when you pair it up with a new unlimited line. Usually, you need to trade in an old device to get a discount like this, but right now, all that's needed is a new line on an eligible plan.
