Over the last couple of years, there has been an increased focus on remaining fit - which has resulted in a spike in the sale of fitness trackers. Following the same trend, Timex has recently introduced a new smartwatch named Timex Fit 2.0.

The wearable boasts health monitoring features it offers and the Bluetooth calling capability. It has a square-shaped dial with a metallic finish complemented with rubber straps.

This budget fitness tracker is priced at a premium compared to alternatives from Boat, Noise, etc. Hence, the expectations from the device in terms of performance are already high.

Timex Fit 2.0 pricing and availability

The Timex Fit 2.0 smartwatch is available in the market at a price of Rs 5,995. The wearable is being shipped in three colour options - Black, Blue, and Grey. The wearable is available on the official website of the brand.

Timex Fit 2.0 specifications and features

Timex Fit 2.0 comes equipped with a 1.72-inch display with 360x385 pixels resolution. The smartwatch also consists of twenty in-built sports modes along with exercise and activities. It has a SpO2 sensor, activity tracker, sleep tracker, and a blood pressure monitor too to keep a track of health.

Timex Fit 2.0 also includes music and camera control for a better experience. The smartwatch also has 200 watch faces to choose from so that the user is not bored watching the same faces every day.

The wearable can offer a battery life of seven days once charged completely. The Bluetooth calling feature of the smartwatch allows the user to make calls via the device.

The smartwatch will compete directly with the Boat Watch Blaze which also offers a similar set of specifications. The watch offers fast charging and the battery can last up to 7 days.

It comes with a 1.75-inch display with 500 nits of peak brightness. However, the Boat wearable is available at a price under Rs 4,000. It would be interesting to see how the Timex wearable competes with other affordable alternatives.
