The best 14-inch laptops offer the perfect blend of design, power, and price. They're easy to throw in a rucksack yet powerful enough to get your work done. But with so many options, which one should you go for?

Well, one of the best on the market is the Dell 14 Plus from Dell, which is now on sale for $799.99 (was $1,219.99). That's a Black Friday-level price for the 4.5-star laptop and represents incredible value for a broad range of users.

It's not every day that Dell slashes the price of one of their laptops by more than $400. Aside from the incredible discounted price, the laptop features an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage, which is enough hardware to get most jobs done with ease. You can opt for a higher spec by customising it on the Dell website, but we think most users won't need to.

I've already mentioned the 4.5-star rating that we gave this Dell laptop when we reviewed it. More specifically, our expert tester called it a great laptop for "general productivity or school work, everyday computing tasks, video calls, or video streaming." It won't hit the dizzy heights required for dedicated AI or 3D rendering work, but it'll offer more than enough for most other people.

We're big fans of how responsive the laptop is, the battery performance on offer, and the inherent portability of the 14-inch form factor. This is a laptop that you can take with you without having to worry too much about whether you also packed your charger.
